She will Blind side you.
She's not honest and will report your condition to get your drivers license suspended without your knowledge. Not Trustworthy and won't tell you what she's doing. No wonder Banner got rid of her

I have never been more insulted in my life
She told me that she didn't know my genetic disease, but yet was telling me incorrect information to do. She acted like she knew everything, but the information was all incorrect. She told me that I didn't have that disease because she only got to read half of a report and didn't have the part that said I had it. My husband and I walked out on her before she could even check me out. She kept saying I don't even know why you are here. I was there because I was referred to her by my neurologist. I waited for 3 months to get into her and was so insulted, we walked out. I suggest picking another doctor because this one is rude, cold and knows everything, but truly doesn't know how to treat her patients. I was so mad, I went to the car and cried. I will never be setting foot in her office again.

Dr. Scherer gave my sister no hope
I'm doing this review on behalf of my late sister. She said Dr. Scherer gave her a terrible diagnosis and then essentially told her to go home and die. There are things that could have been done for my sister as she was injured by the C jabs. But this doctor refused to dig deeper. My sister died unnecessarily and she hated going in to see Dr. Scherer because she felt like there was no hope and the doctor was very uncaring. This whole situation is beyond tragic.

After 3 months of waiting, Dr. Scherer cancels
My wife had a referral from our oncologist and were scheduled to see Dr. Scherer as my wife can barely breath due to a likely neuromuscular issue. After being on the books for 3 months, Dr. Scherer cancels 1 week before saying that she does not see patients with that condition. Do we now have to wait another 3 months to see someone else as this condition worsens?

I totally appreciate Dr. Scherer’s expertise and inquiring curiosity. My husband and I appreciated her unique sense of humor… but especially appreciated her practical sense. She did a through history of my past that may have justified some of my precious muscle /nerve damage way back to 1986! Who knew when we were young that many,of our, past medical events could follow us forever. She searched and I feel confident she is 4ight on. Thank you for your expertise. You are fabulous as a physician and diagnostician.

I like her, but she's not for everyone. She's extremely knowledgeable, has a wicked sense of humor (which meshed perfectly with mine), patiently answered all questions (especially those from my wife, who used to edit medical texts and knows the terminology better than the average layperson), never made me feel as if she didn't have time to spend (even to the point of squeezing in a diagnostic procedure when there was a last-minute cancellation), asked a lot of questions about my history/family history/symptoms/timeline-- all aimed at getting to the right diagnosis. My impression is that she takes no BS from anybody, does not suffer fools, and will give you the unvarnished truth, whether it's good news or bad.

She’s horrible. Totally unwilling to take responsibility for her actions. I asked her to do 4 things for me at one of our visits, she dropped the ball on 3/4 and then had an excuse for each one that involved blaming someone else (even me, insinuating I’m just stupid). VERY bad bedside manner. When she diagnosed me with FA she was happy she was right and couldn’t hide it, and then proceeded to give me the worst case scenario. Also very lazy. Doesn’t return phone calls and doesn’t do what she says she will. Go to someone else.

Dr. Scherer is a phenomenal doctor. She is no-nonsense in her communication, but that's only because she is so good at what she does. Without her, I'm certain that I would still be sitting at home in horrible pain, dying, wondering what was wrong with my body (Miyoshi Muscular Dystrophy, Von Eulenburg, seizures, others). She is brilliant, intuitive, and uses her obvious talent in neuromuscular specialization to do everything she can to help her patients. She is invaluable to medicine-and to me.

These were terrible appointments with Dr. Scherer, she interacts with patients in an abrupt and unprofessional manner. The best example included 10 minutes of examination and her confirmation that she believed it was ALS. Obviously my mother was very distraught and Dr. Scherer literally said "We all will eventually die, you just will die sooner". I post this so that you seek out a different physician when dealing with a disease like ALS. Mayo was a superior experience and very supportive.

I recently took my son to see Dr.Scherer and I found her to be very knowledgeable, very thorough, pleasant and really good with my son who's ten. She helped us understand his condition and was very helpful as with regards to going forward with his treatment.

I usually look at reviews with a grain of salt, but the negative reviews here are spot on. She came into the room with a bad attitude, and she was outright insulting. To describe what went on in there would take a whole page; I am just glad to get out of there...i am more concerned about her students because inevitably they will take cues from this very unprofessional woman and really, we don't need doctors like this.

Dr scherer was completely disinterested as to why we were there for the third time. When she was the one that said to come back. She was rude to the point of bitchy. Never would I recommend her. She has zero compassion for her patients.

I was diagnosed with Neuropathy at TMC Hospital. She disagreed with the diagnosis and sent me for a MRI.She sent my results by letter even though there is a system in place to reach patients by internet called MY Chart. The letter was incomprehensible for a lay person to understand. Bottom line.. no serious problems even though in her office she had me do a series of leg movements that were of concern. Come back in 3-6 months,no further explanations or follow ups. What??
