Dr. Katelyn Hartung, DO

Dr. Hartung was the first OB-Gyn after several and years of suffering to find out what was wrong with me. She did everything she could to surgically remove all my cyst without a hysterectomy and without any medications. My condition was severe and at my age and a year out of the initial surgery I opted to have a partial hysterectomy. My quality of life is night and day after years and years of suffering. She is an excellent doctor who listened and understood without any issues. I have referred several people to her and will always speak highly of her. Thank you. Dr. Aboud and the entire HFHS team.

Dr. Hartung took care of my during my first pregnancy and performed my c section. She was so thorough and attentive with my care. She was always easy to reach and very attentive. She answered all my questions and supported me in all my decision making. Her office staff is friendly as well and we never had to wait. My c section was a dream, she is a phenomenal surgeon. I highly recommend her!

I saw this doctor for severe and unexplained bleeding from my uterus. She told me that my options were hormonal birth control, pregnancy, or hysterectomy. I was bullied/guilted into starting hormonal birth control at my office visit, which made my condition so much worse. I finally got a second opinion, which was night and day compared to this provider. The new provider was able to prescribe me a new medication and also more diagnostic procedures to actually help me figure out what is causing this bleeding. Dr Hartung also advised me not to receive care for anemia, because my numbers “weren’t low enough”; then after seeing a hemotologist, I am now scheduled for 5 iron infusions over two weeks, so she was obviously incorrect in her recommendations to me. She has a horrible bedside manner and is a disgrace to women’s healthcare. Do not go see this doctor if you can help it.
