Negligent misdiagnosis
I’m SO fortunate that I listened to my body and intuition and seeked out care at a different ED facility, as my diagnosis by Dr Kateri Roessler-Henderson of “muscle strain and reflux” was actually stage 4 appendix cancer. Found via CT scan, a few days after my visit to Good Sam ED.I’m now 5 months post-surgery and lucky to be alive. Dr Roessler-Henderson, I beg of you, listen to your patients when they say something isn’t right. The ED Dr who treated me (at Evergreen) decided within minutes that he wanted a “full picture” (CT) of what was going on. He’s one of the humans responsible for saving my life. There was a 25cm mass on my left ovary, 2 liters of fluid in my abdomen and cancer cells and tumors throughout, affecting over 10 organs (many of which are now gone)It took less than 5 minutes of him listening to me to order a CT. I said the exact same thing to him as I did you. Please do better.

Awful - Went to ER after a fall. I could not walk, stand, was very painful to lay in hospital bed, she stated probably a muscle spasm. Wife then suggested an X-Ray, were were told no, not needed. Went to chiropractor a week later, he stated we need an X-Ray 1st. T-12 was crushed. In her report -Your pain seems to be due, primarily, to muscle pain/spasm. This is in Wa State where she now "practices".

First time meeting here at providence little company of Mary medical center in torrance. She she has no empathy no bedside manners definitely no knowledge. I was very ill came to find out that I have a high white blood cell count. blood in the urine bacteria in the urine . Nothing was given to me but nausea medication. Went to a different doctor came to find out I had a very bad kidney infection. I will never recommend this Dr to my family or friends.
