You won't like Dr. K if you can't handle the truth
Dr. K is amazing because she tells it like it is! If you want sugar-coated BS just to make you 'feel better', then you don't actually want a real doctor...you want someone to enable your bad choices. Dr. K gives a good amount of time, each time. She answers questions thoroughly. She helps to hold you accountable by challenging your misconceptions and or your bad habits. Yep, I cringe sometimes because she kicks my butt (verbally) for my stinkin thinkin but my diabetes is under control because of her strength. Thank you Dr. K :)

Without a doubt, the best Doctor I have seen, A+
Dr. K. has been by far the best physician I have ever had the privilege to care for my medical problems, I've been seeing her for 15 years now and never been rushed, she has all my blood levels correct, I am a Diabetic one and had a triple bypass 13 years ago after recently losing my wife of 23 years to Cancer she has been helping me through this very difficult time in my life also, I have never had a doctor that would answer e-mails if I have a question or need a prescription refilled, I can't speak for the patients who have left negative reviews but I can only talk about my experiences and all I can say is this Doctor is without a doubt the most thoughtful caring intelligent physican I've been blessed to find, She has called to make sure I'm doing o-k, no other doctor I've seen this, I wish every Doctor cared and put the effort in that she does, I would give her 10 stars if possible, all I say is if you need to see an Endocrinologist you can't go wrong with Dr. Komarovskiy.

Disappointed
I had nothing but a positive impression of Dr. Komarovskiy based on my two visits with her. I had a six-months follow-up appointment with her scheduled in July but before that started experiencing symptoms that made me wonder if my thyroid medication was off. She ordered bloodwork that confirmed that my thyroid levels were fine and there was no need to change dosage. As my appointment approached I was packing up to move out of state and had a conflict with my appointment time. I also realized that I had several renewals left on my prescription and that there was no need for an appointment at that point; I would need to find a new doctor once I moved. I called to cancel 3 days in advance and also wrote same in portal. Dr. Komarovskiy was obviously angry that I cancelled and personally called my pharmacy to cancel my thyroid prescription immediately. That seems to me to be based on pettiness and nothing to do with any medical justification. Just disappointing.

Dr. Komarovskiy’s needs to seek professional training on how to speak with patients! Her attitude and tone of conversation during this visit was loud and absolutely unethical. She only treats lab results not symptoms, ignoring patient input over her own bias. Her staff friendliness - forget about it in her office. You will not find quality medical care here. I really doubt that this physician could have treated someone successfully. She was NOT supportive, or her knowledge and skills are particularly current. I question the validity of positive reviews.

Dissatisfied with Dr. Komarovskiy’s visit
Dr. Komarovskiy needs to seek professional training on how to speak with patients! The same referred to the personnel in her office. Totally unprofessional. She only treats lab results not symptoms, ignoring patient input over her own bias. Her knowledge and skills particularly are NOT current. I question the validity of positive reviews.

She has been a blessIng to me. She is so caring!
I accidentally found her probably 15+ years ago - God sent me to her He showed me where to go I had never heard of her but I so thankful I went there - I knew my present diabetes Dr. wasn't doing me any good - he'd give me insulin samples, talk to me a few minutes and sent me on my way so he could file my insurance. I realized he really could have cared less when it came to my health which is so sad:-( Going down the road one day I just pulled in where she was located and made an appointment - best thing I have ever done. I just wish more Dr.'s could take lesson's from her, but of course it is not a "lesson" it comes from her caring heart! She listens to what you have to say, questions you about what you're doing, what problems you're having. When you leave her office you know that she is really taking care of you - she has been a Godsend to me. make you feel so comfortable. she will laugh with you and really gets to know you. If you have diabetes you really need to go see her!

Excellent doctor, awful office staff
Dr Komarovskiy is an excellent doctor, probably the best one I've ever had. However, her office staff is on absolute train wreck. Very poor at scheduling, sometimes rude, don't listen to what I say.

Go if you don’t mind being yelled at
Dr. K saw my husband and yelled at him repeatedly so loud the people in the lobby could hear her yelling. This is very unprofessional and he will never return to this doctor. I wish I had been there to let her know my extreme disappointment. As a doctor myself, I would NEVER treat a customer or another human being in such an ugly manner. For shame!

Highly recommend. She takes so much time with you, is patient and answers all your questions while also giving you information you may not have asked for. She takes the time to try out different medications to see what works for you and also gives you ideas on how to lower or get off your medication.

I've been treated by Dr. Komarovskiy for a number of years. Under her care, my A1c has fallen to well below 6. She is very knowledgeable and spends time explaining the course of treatment and listening to patient concerns. Her office staff is professional, yet relaxed. She is simply a great doctor and a very nice person.

Dr Komarovskiy is right to the point with my wife's diabetes. It took a month to get her first appointment but very well worth the wait. Dr K liked that I came with my wife because she then got real answers about her eating habits that my wife was Leary about sharing or could not remember. They also have a Quest Lab tech on staff which my insurance pays for at 100%, great not having to go for labs at another office. Dr k does type on her laptop while discussing treatment but never missed a beat.

I enjoy going to see Dr Komarovskiy, I use to hate going to the endo but after visits with her. WOW! She is awesome I was diagnosed with type 2 and using a different endo I decided it was time to move on. Found her at a different facility and after further testing the first endo wouldn't do. I was rediagnosed with type 1. It is a relief to know that there is a endo that knows her stuff. I will continue to see her.
