EMG
I was scheduled for an EMG at DR. Kurako's office and felt the staff was unprofessional and rude. Finally after 1.5 hours of waiting a medical assistant and a nuero intern came in. Started test, couldnt figure out why they were getting incorrect readings. Finally Dr. Kurako completed the test. I stressed that due to spinal surgery 4 mos. ago. and complete loss of movement in left hand my 2 doctors where waiting on this test so they can come up with a treatment plan. To make matters worse, There was no medical documentation in my chart for the test or the results. I have made numnerous calls following up for test results and they finally sent the report 9 days later unsigned by the doctor that read it? Both my Hand suergon and nuero-suergon read the impression of the EMG and said the test was inaccurate and did not depict my actaul deficits.

Great Dr for Diagnostics
In one visit, Dr. Kurako ordered an MRI that proved out her suspicion that a earlier stroke diagnosis by another Dr. was incorrect. Rather, the problem was a cervical spine issue.

Dr Kurako, is not only caring and compassionate, she is a skilled neurologist that has a great bedside manor. It's getting harder and harder to find not only a Dr. with a great skill set, but also one that truly cares about their patient. Without hesitation, I recommend Dr. Kurako.

I started seeing Dr. Kurako on 10/3/18. I'm seeing her for pains in my arm that literally take my breath away. Our visit went well she really made me feel like she cared & could help. I was told to buy an over the counter neck brace (which I'm on husky it's hard enough for me to pay my normal bills let alone treat myself to a neck brace, but I got one anyway) and that I would need a CT Scan. Long story short 2 months I've chased this office down and still have no answers and can't lift my arm up
