Discouraging. Was told to stop taking some of my supplements and take treatment with side effects.

I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Mikulec. It took 10 months to get an appointment with her. She put me on Prolia and now I am having complications and she does not want to diagnose or treat the complications. She referred me to my PCP or an ENT. Said to come back after my PCP had figured out what what going on. Osteoporosis is supposed to be her specialty but unless everything is smooth sailing, she does not want you as a patient. Just another example of the broken healthcare system.

Dr. is OK, but the staff is incompetent and rude. Took them 30 minutes to find my insurance referral, made me late for my appointment. Asked for my copay and didn't have change asked me to come back later. Med. asst. gave me problems about my med list, I complained to Dr. about my rude treatment, she agreed with asst, I never came back. I don't pay my money to be treated like this, there are other Dr.s that want to keep patients. This is the first Dr. in 60 years I didn't go back to. One star because had to give one to review, or it would be NONE.

I have been going to Dr, Mikulec for several years , she has been proactive, very professional and caring. She listens to what I have to say and together we agree on the next course of action. She has gone above and beyond inquiring about other issues going on with my health, as she understands it could effect my diagnosis. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me! You are the best!

Regardless of whether Dr. Mikulec's skills are good or bad, if she is inaccessible she becomes useless to her patients. ALL phone calls to her office have gone to voicemail with return phone calls after hours. If you miss that phone call you will be leaving another voicemail for a return call back after hours on the following day. If a person has adverse reactions to drugs prescribed by Dr. Mikulec those messages should have priority but are handled no different than any other calls.
