Dismissed My Condition
I visited with this Doctor after a TIA and carotid stenosis diagnosis. She totally dismissed my conditions and informed me that my carotids were normal. She didn’t think I needed to be on blood thinners and told me not to worry.I got a second opinion and have been diagnosed with FMD. Some Doctor’s really don’t care about people. I would not recommend her.

Follow up
I had an appointment the beginning of September. At the end of the visit, Dr. Brown said her office would call me for a follow up appointment around Thanksgiving and surgery around Christmas. Never heard anything from the office. Called the beginning of December, the person who schedules appointments wasn't there, so someone was supposed to get back to me. Never heard. Called again and the person told me that Dr. Brown wasn't doing any vein surgeries at this time and they would call me in January. She knew that I had a high deductible and it had been met, so the appointment after the new year will be to late. So no, I would not recommend her. I have seen other reviews about her and a lot of them were the same response.

Vascular doctor
Took a long time for appointment. Wait time to see doctor excessive. Doctor came in for a short time, and no follow up to my visit was scheduled with the hospital . Had to message three weeks later about no follow up with the tests I was supposed to have. They replied with a phone number for me to call if I didn't hear from the hospital. Lost all trust in this doctor and office- Would not recommend

Dr Brown is excellent! When my 80 year old Mom had an aortic aneurysm and bifemoral artery blockage, she performed a very successful bypass, saving my Mom's life!

I met Dr. Brown in the ER at Bergan Mercy when I had a fall in my kitchen and ruptured my popiteal artery. She did a fantastic job with the arterial graft. When I went into surgery Dr. Brown explain the problems with the injury and surgery and said it was possible I might come out of surgery with only one leg. Happily I have two healthy legs due to her skills. I go to see her once a year for an arterial scan to make sure the graft is doing well. She is always pleasant and professional.
