Disappointed
Dr Durnen did my surgery and her work was good but she has poor bedside manners. She did not bring a good energy to the room. She did not do a good job with listening and clarifying my problems/concerns. She was short fused and came across unkind, cold, uncaring and unprofessional. She didn’t hear me out because she was so short fused and she was making assumptions about me. And showed aggravation at the fact that I ask questions. I would not recommend her to anyone. I wish she had been kind, listened and then told me what she could or would do. Educate me on her view and showed me her work. We need good doctors in my community.

My son had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his foot, and Dr. Durnen did a skin graft for him. She was amazing! She was so kind, took the time to answer all of our questions, and was so caring and sweet to my son. He is 10 and was really scared, but she eased his fears. His foot now looks better than ever, she is a gift from above and is amazing at what she does! I’ll always recommend her and be grateful for her help and treatment of my son.

Very disappointed
Her manner was confrontational & dismissive. Failed to use tape that would prevent peeling skin. Threatened to dismiss my son if he failed to quit smoking. Ignored his report of excess pain ("I can't see your pain") without any imaging U/S or MRI. Ignored his report of a lump subdural. Four days after she dismissed him the cyst broke the skin draining. A better Dr had to excise the cyst to correct the problem. There was no wound care just look & say it's just fine.

Where do I begin Dr. Huber is an amazing plastic Surgeon! I knew I wanted her to be apart of my major reconstructive surgery for massive weight loss. Dr. Huber is truly an artist! She is A plus from start to finish. She listens to your needs and expectations, responds with realistic outcomes, the in and outs of surgery, and is there every step of the way. I would trust her time and time again for all my surgery needs. I can't thank her enough for the new life she has created for me.

We had the misfortune of dealing with Dr. Huber when she was the fellow for my mom's double mastectomy. She's rude, unprofessional and incompetent. She failed to put her DEA number on the script for pain meds so when we tried to have it filled, they couldn't. When we called, she was rude, unapologetic and her best suggestion was alternating Tylenol and flexeril for pain until a new one could be mailed. Tylenol. For a double mastectomy. Don't trust her- Steer clear. She's horrible and dangerous.
