Dr. Katherine Gassman, DO

Love doctor Gassman we have been with her for 4 years. Unfortunately her nurse Jessica is completely different and we are having to switch doctors because her rudeness and attitude !

My experience with Dr. Gassman was nothing short of incredible. I saw her throughout my pregnancy (along with other providers as standard). She was on call when it came time to deliver and everyone was so impressed. She stayed calm and available throughout my entire labor. When babys heart rate went too low and mine went too high she did not give any level of panic but calmly, methodically had me switch positions to level us out. She never left and slept in a room next door to make sure she was ready at a moments notice. She was an incredibly competent doctor and let you voice any concerns without judgement. She is now my primary doctor I enjoyed her so much.

I would recommend Dr. Gassman to family and friends. I have seen her several times already since she has joined MDI's practice and she is very thorough. I have presented with varying issues over the last few months, from contraceptive management, mental health issues, to post ED follow-up with procedure referrals. I never felt rushed, Dr. Gassman listened to everything I had to say, was 'present' during the visit. All of her medical decisions thus far have yielded positive results.

She was very short with me, said she couldn't tell if my baby had turned or not (definitely a legitimate question at 32 weeks), and seemed generally annoyed by my other questions. If you want a 5 minute appointment and don't have any questions, she might be great. But if, like most pregnant women, you have some questions, I highly recommend seeing someone else. She's very rude
