Dr. Katherine Holzman, DO

I have been seeing Doctor Holzman now for 6 years and is by far the best doctor that I have had. Very thorough with her evaluations and always is quick on refill prescription. Does require follow ups for scripts but I feel that is just to make sure that I am going in the direction I am suppose to be.

She has been my doctor for a few years and was just ok. Now with the virus I was told I had to make an appointment to get my meds. So I made a wellness check up and was told she would not refill my meds that I had to make a second appointment or she would charge me for 2 appointments. I also asked to get a blood work up for what she wanted because I was going to contact my specialist to get all test at one time and was told no. After that I told the person that was making the appointment I would rather get covid before I went back to her. I then called my insurance and told them to take her off of my contact as primary care doctor. No common sense.

She's extremely thorough, helpful, caring and professional. Altogether an outstanding physician!

I found Dr. Holzman to be very nice and she seems thorough. However, as another reviewer stated, very rigid. I had a temporary disability and couldn't get to her office. I could not get a prescription renewed even though I was told she just needed to talk to me, but it couldn't be a phone appt. All I heard was that I had to come in for their documentation. It seems that documentation is more important than really helping patients. No partial script offered. Not very convenient or helpful.
