Dr. Katherine Matta, MD

saw her recently in waltham, loved her, then i got a vm today she is closing offices. may be it's wrapped up in the steward mess but no word on how to continue seeing her or where and she was prescribing me meds. no phone number is working....

I have been seeing Dr. Matta for over 5 years. Dr. Matta is professional, caring and takes the time to listen to my concerns and questions. She is personable and knowledgeable. Most importantly, I felt comfortable during my whole visit. I can always count on her to respond to my messages promptly on StewardConnect. Anita is wonderful! She is so friendly and professional. They work as a great team and it shows. I highly recommend Dr. Matta!

I found Dr. Matta professional, caring, lighthearted, serious and attentive. I was anxious to follow up & schedule for an unexpected procedure. I have little trust & confidence in medical professionals, and was glad to find great reviews. My delay was: my PCP had to fax results in order to make the appointment. After that, I was seen in 3 days. Anita was friendly & informative by phone & put my mind at easy that Dr. doesn't incorporate an unnecessary aspect of the procedure that I was particularly uncomfortable with.Dr. spent a lot of time with me. There were no surprises, which can be a very upsetting aspect of med. experiences for me. She was nonjudgmental & practically supportive regarding birth control methods. My only complaint is she encouraged me to eat ice cream to feel better - I'm disturbed when doctors encourage sugar as self-soothing given how it inhibits healing! - I did ... bc Doctor's Orders still carry weight tho I 'know better'...Thank you Dr. and reviewers.

I cant sat enough great things about Dr Matta. She is soooo nice, easy to talk to, doesnt rush, wonderful all around.

Dr. Matta has been the one consistent doctor that I feel I can trust. She is quick to reply to concerns via phone call or through the portal. She has always taken the time to answer any questions I have an explains things in a way I could understand. I also love her office staff!

I cannot talk highly enough of Dr. Matta and her team. She has truly been the best Doctor that I have ever had. From my first appointment I appreciated that she didn't rush through our meeting, she took the time to get to know me and listened to all my concerns. I have found this experience to be true at every appointment since. She really listens to any concern you might have no matter how small. I appreciate her constant kindness, understanding, and listening. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a new doctor.
