After decades of dealing with seasonal allergies, I finally decided to see allergist! This was after I suffered so badly in the spring that I spent at least one day a week in bed, whacked out of my mind on over-the-counter allergy meds. I made an appointment with Katie McCormack for a scratch test, which was interesting because I learned that I was allergic to everything but my dog and house. Dr. McCormack is a great listener and very easy to relate to. She set me up with treatment, including holistic tips and a few medications, that provided relief within 2 weeks. I have not had to take pills since then and have had zero down days. Dr. Katie changed my life for the better and the only thing I regret is not seeing her sooner.

In years past when I looked for a doctor I would shy away from the young physicians because they were inexperienced. Nowadays I look for a doctor who studied at a top medical school and is relatively young,in that way the latest procedures and diagnostics are at their fingertips. Bedside manner is huge to me,as well as being listened to. Doctor McCormack has these qualities and more. I felt more like an equal rather than being talked down to like with some older Physicians which put me instantly at ease. It doesn't hurt that doctor has a great personality. I highly recommend her, one of her specialties is working in Pediatrics and I bet the kids love her.
