Dr. Kathleen Cansler, MD

This was one of the only doctors I could get an appointment with within a reasonable amount of time (within a week). I found the doctor to be disorganized, and did not provide any insight or solution to my health concerns. Both a blood and urine sample were collected, but she never followed up with me. When I called to ask for results, I was told that she would only discuss my test results during an in-person appointment. I explained that another appointment would trigger a co-pay. My co-pay is expensive, and I wanted to avoid an additional charge. The office refused to give me any results, but I certainly received additional bills that trickled in from various labs! Although I came in for digestion/stomach issues, I was charged for a "drug screen" test, and a pregnancy test. I was told that she would be testing to help determine if I had some sort of infection. I don't use drugs and I failed to see how that test is relative! Now I'm stuck with various lab charges I never agreed to.

An office visit never lasts less than 2 hours! She gets very confused and will order tests for you meant for someone else. Last time I was there they took a Basic blood draw. I checked out how her tests were billed. She had ordered 6-8’genetic tests which no one ordered. It billed out to more than $4,000!!! I would definitely not recommend Dr Cansler.

I visited Dr. Cansler in regards to High Blood Pressure and have a well documented history of this condition. I went to her a few times regarding this and she prescribed medication, always a 3 month prescription. I recently moved and called my pharmacy to see what was going on as I had not heard from them. They advised they had sent the request to Dr. Cansler office but had no response. I called Dr. Cansler office and they advised I would need to come into see the Dr. before they could prescribe, fair enough. However, I let them know I had NO blood pressure pills left and have moved out of state . Have a new job and will have insurance with my new company in two months and asked if they could please prescribe at least a 2 months to cover me until I can find a new primary in my new location. Only sent prescription for one month!. Completely disappointing in their lack of understanding, compassion and complete disregard. Would not recommend this office to anyone!,

she is a complete space cadet & more worried about what type of ins, I had & how much it would pay. She lost my chart 5 times in 10 minutes & was writing my replies on the tissue paper on the exam bed! They NEVER took any of my vitals or sent my results. Please go elsewhere IF you value your life.

Doctor Cansler and her staff are amazing, I would recommend her to anyone , and any age, she sees my grandmother and my daughter,

Worse doctor ever. I just go here because it's on my insurance and don't want to struggle with finding a new one since I just come in for refills on my medication. Which i was accused of selling and she almost refused to give me a refill of one medication because I'm breastfeeding. Even though my previous visit we agreed this one was safe. Women behind desk by her office as we were told to wait there was on her cell phone cussing none stop.l

This place has gotten horrible. When i first start coming here it was so comforting. Now this place is nasty and the new staff is rude as hell and everyone knows everyone business. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Never to return. Incompetent office staff. Staff not trained in simple tasks. Dr. Cansler gave staff duties to perform she should have completed herself. My Fmla paperwork was filled out incorrectly and not even faxed to the accurate number. I am seeking care elsewhere. Office staff unable to perform simple tasks of referrals and authorizations with insurance. Not helpful and at no time felt as though they cared about my well being.
