Kudos to Dr Elliott and the staff at Novant
I am a retired physician who has undergone over 1 year of chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant. Dr Elliott has been there throughout this difficult journey and shown keen clinical judgment as well as compassion that is difficult to find in today’s medical environment.

Dr Elliott has been instrumental on my care. I have had the pleasure of having her as my doctor for the last 4 1/2 years. I am a stage 4 colon cancer patient/survivor and I feel without her expert care. I would not be able to make that statement! She has been a God send to me and my family!!!!

Horrible. Makes you wait weeks to get test results when results have been in my chart for days. I can not begin to put into words how unprofessional this MD is. She appeared to read my chart for the first time with no idea of the test results until she was sitting with me. Gave me an all clear after all tests results are in and then calls the next week to say that more test results came back with "something". Thx for the extra emotional rollercoaster, like cancer diagnosis was not enough.

After reading Dr Elliott's philosophy and the two reviews, I am questioning whether if I am reviewing the right person. Dr Elliot does not answer questions, treats me like a number, demonstrates no compassion or understanding. Instead of supporting me in fighting the cancer she is cold and silent. When my husband asked about alternative treatments she said "why, she's still alive." The office staff and nurses are positive, kind, uplifting and wonderful. The volunteers are welcoming and helpful.

Dr. Elliott takes the time to explain any and all questions you may have regarding a cancer diagnosis. She does an incredible job of explaining what she thinks is most medically prudent but remains caring and understanding of the emotional burden that comes along with the diagnosis. She quickly became a trusted resource and sounding board for the deluge of information that was presented to me for varying sources. She will forever hold a special place for giving me a new lease on life.
