Dr. Kathleen Mitchell, MD

I visited Dr. Mitchell on December 23rd for bladder pain and underwent a very painful pelvic exam. I was told that medication for a bladder infection would be called in that same day, especially with the holidays approaching. However, no prescription was sent, and I went three days without medication. My symptoms worsened significantly, and I ended up in the ER, where I was placed on sepsis protocol due to an elevated white blood cell count indicating infection and elevated lactate levels. This experience left me deeply concerned about the lack of follow-through and its serious impact on my health.

Dr. Mitchell really cares about her patients. I have been seeing her for over 10 years and she is always so sweet and knowledgeable.

My daughter in law had the most awful experience having delivered twins by c section with Mitchell. After delivery Mitchell never checked on her before leaving the hospital. My daughter in law developed a fever at went to the hospital. The staff was unable to get in touch with Mitchell. They sent her home claiming she had a UTI. A day later she was back at the hospital with a 103.3-104. fever where she demanded an ultrasound. She had retained her placenta and could have died. She stayed overnight and ended up having a DNC. Mitchell never returned a phone call through it all.

I'm so happy to finally find a doctor who cares about their patients, is professional, and has a good sense of what bedside manner is. Also the staff was helpful and friendly.

I've been going to Dr. Mitchell for 15+ years and I am so happy with my experiences with her. She cares about your whole wellbeing, discussing not only women's health but good health and nutrition. She delivered my baby and my sister's two children. She's cognizant of your time and works efficiently.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mitchell since I was 18 years old I'm now 38. She has guided me through three successful pregnancies. Knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, caring, professional I could go on and on she is absolutely amazing. My daughter whom she delivered is now one of her patients. Her personality is very laid back but very observant she do not miss a beat. Her calmness in a world of uproar is exactly what is needed I would recommend her a thousand times. I absolutely love this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Mitchell for a couple years. She is by far the best OBGYN I have ever had in my 30 years of going.

There's a lack of professionalism and empathy provided by the doctor's office staff, specifically, the Dr. Mitchell's nurse, Brittany. I've brought this matter up several times to the nurse, doctor, and office manager, which was ignored. Honestly, you have a better chance of being treated with respect at the local community clinic.

My primary recommended her. The 1st year I saw her was just a standard yearly appt. I thought maybe she just had a bad day and I chalked it up to that . 2nd yearly check-up, it was more of the same attitude (like having a fight with a sibling but forced having to talk to each other because Mom said). Now I was new to the area so I didn't know her & there's no way could have crossed paths. Just my clinical information is all. Third-year this is my mistake for being lazy to find somebody else, but she actually chided me like I was a child because I hadn't gotten a yearly mammoram done yet this year. Note: I'm not at the age or any family history that is deemed necessary to have an mammogram yearly. Completely uncalled for, I would rather never see another OB than ever go back to her ever again. Don't waste your time with her unless you want attitude. Her unhappiness in her choice of career should not be taken out on patients.

I see Dr. Mitchell on a yearly basis for my wellness exam and have follow-up visits prn. Her office is very busy but she ensures that I am taken back for the preliminary workup quite fast. I value her advice and find her very patient and focused on my concerns, even detecting some that I am unable to express. She answers my questions and is both encouraging and respectful.

Dr Mitchell is the best Dr. I have ever seen. She is so knowledgeable and has a great personality. She really listens to any concerns and takes everything you say seriously, which sometimes doesn't happen for women.

Dr. Mitchell was my mother's gynecologist when she was pregnant with me and now she has become my gynecologist and she is an intelligent and thoughtful doctor. She will access your needs, health wise, not only as a woman, but also as a regular human being, because what is wrong sometimes does not have to do with your reproductive organs. She was thorough in her examinations and followed everything by the book.

I have been a patient of dr Mitchell's eighteen and a half years now every time I go to her for an office visit she takes the time out to explain things to me about my chart she's definitely knowledgeable, caring, compassionate doctor I absolutely would recommend dr Mitchell.

I was seeing another doctor in her practice, but was also checked on by Dr. Mitchell during my stay in the hospital after my c-section, and also dealt with her a few times while she was on call. Each experience with her was basically her interrupting my questions, cutting me off, being very rude in general, and most of my questions were met with a lot of pauses and "uhhh"s and "I don't know"s, which made me seriously doubt her proficiency as a physician.

She is an excellent doctor and a kind, caring person. For us, she was an angel send from heaven. I had a difficult pregnancy, all through the process I felt grateful that she was my doctor. I highly recommend her. Once you get to know her more, you feel like a friend and not just a patient.
