Dr. Kathleen Restivo, MD

Dr. Restive was my doctor at Pro-Health for many years. She listens carefully. One remarkable characteristic about her is that she does not instruct. She has a conversation with you. In that conversation tells you of your illness. She would then inform you of how said illness affects your body. She will then tell you about what she will prescribe to make you well. Finally, she wants to know what else is affecting you. She is professional, courteous and never hurries you out of her office. Oh, I wished she was at Pro-Health. Cecil Ronald - Hollis, Queens,

I have gone to Dr Restivo for over 25 years - I have followed wherever she practiced to continue having her as my dr. She is no longer at Pro-Health but they did not say where she went to or if she retired so I am trying to find out if she is practicing elsewhere or not.

Dr Restivo is thorough and listens to complaints. She is kind and helps you to make informed and sound decisions regarding your treatment

Very caring doctor but I don’t know how many patients are being booked. Over booking coupled with her very caring patience means you always wait 45-90 minutes to be seen. That is not courteous to her patients.

I lost 33 pounds in 54 days. I didn't believe this would work when I went in for my initial consultation but decided to try it anyway. At first nothing happened and I got frustrated. Dr Restivo told me that your body is going to do what it wants to do on its own schedule, just keep following the rules. I followed her advice and got very serious about the program and started losing a pound a day. I was able to throw out all of my clothes and buy a brand new wardrobe. This isn't a yoyo die

Can't count on her-doesn't truly care about patients as much as $. I was patient who was forced to leave when I changed insurance that she didn't accept. Bcause I liked her I called every yr hoping she would start accepting it and she did! But I was told since I hadn't been there in years I would be considered a NEW patient and she wasn't accepting new patients! I explained the situation and asked to speak to her directly. She didn't even have courtesy to call but staff did to say sorry-Really?!

I find Dr. Restivo extremely caring and focussed when it comes to your concerns as a patient.

Dr. Restivo has been my PMD for almost 15 year and she is a brilliant, amazing, caring, dedicated, and always available when needed on emergency. Unfortunately, she does not see any new patients now because I want her to be the PMD for all of my family.

Wonderful doctor. Very bright and compassionate.
