Incredible OBGYN
Long over due review. Dr. Rooney is literally the most amazing doctor I have ever met. She is so kind, genuine, empathetic & incredibly knowledgeable. I came to her as a first time pregnancy at 44 years old with an IVF baby. She was so incredible at monitoring me throughout my entire pregnancy, and the delivery went so smoothly. She helped us get our 10 lb miracle baby boy here. I can’t thank her enough. She is INCREDIBLE. She cares so much about her patients . I am also a healthcare provider, and I have referred so many of my patients to her for OB care. Every single one of them have come back telling me she is absolutely the best OBGYN they’ve ever had. I can’t recommend her enough!! We will transfer our 2nd embryo next year. (45 yrs old) and can’t wait to be back in her care. Thank you!!

Wonderful and Caring Doctor
Dr. Rooney is my current OB, and treated me during my second pregnancy . She was compassionate and thorough, and she was very supportive of my birth preferences. As long as I’m in this area, I want her to be my doctor!

Dr. Rooney is amazing! I had moved to the Sacramento area and loved my previous OB/GYN. I didn't think I would find someone that I liked that much here, but I liked Dr. Rooney more! Her assistant is terrible though - she doesn't bother returning calls and sometimes you have to phone to track her down after weeks of no responses. And when you finally reach her, she tends to not be apologetic. I would give a five if Dr. Rooney had a different, more reliable and respectful assistant.

Dr. Rooney is absolutely amazing. I have been going to her since she was new at the practice about a year ago. She is so sweet, and makes me feel so comfortable! I am a young women and these things can be awkward! But not with her. She's always happy to answer all my questions very thoroughly and always explains to me what she is going to do before she does it. I am not a mother to be, but when I am, I am excited to have her care for me and my baby. I highly recommend her!

My experience with Dr. Rooney was pleasant, I have to give credit to her. It is her medical assistant that is not good at returning phone calls. A two day call-back wait is their policy. They hang up on you when you try to get information. I just want Dr. Rooney to know this individual is costing her patients and money. The competence of the support staff is a good indicator of future service. Stay away.

I have recommended Dr. Rooney to my supervisor and to my daughter. Dr.Rooney makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions. She is very easy to talk to about your concerns and explains things to you if you don't understand. She also keeps you updated on lab work or CAT scans. She has been the one to contact me regarding results and to make sure I don't have any further questions. I can't say enough about what an awesome person and doctor she is.
