She is the most ignorant dr I've ever met
She talks down to her patients like they are nothing.

Cold and Callous
Cold and callous, seemed like I was an inconvenience to her rather than a patient seeking medical attention. Felt thought I should have apologized for being a patient when I left. Treated staff the same way.

Sorry Patient – Jun 24, 2023

Dr Schaefer is not professional, she comes in with a holier than thow attitude. She was rude, dismissive and after finding a neurologist in Philadelphia, it was determined she should have been able to diagnose me in the two hours I wasted at her office. She doesn’t want to work. She should be fired

This doctor accused me of drug seeking behavior because I had two prescriptions for imitrex. A drug you can literally not get high on. She did not help me. Was extremely rude. There are far better kinder neurologists out there.

I am originally from near Philadelphia. I had a craniotomy to remove some of my tumor. Dr. Schaefer became my neurologist when I moved up here. Back in 2014, my tumor started to grow without my knowledge. I had no new symptoms. My doctors in Philadelphia want MRIs done every year for 10 years. I chose to leave Dr. Schaefer. She is not on the same page as my doctors in Philadelphia. Dr. Schaefer refuses to do MRI Scans yearly for 10 years as University of Pennsylvania doctors advise.

Brain Tumor Survivor in West Decatur – Nov 02, 2017

Doctor was cold during administering a painful test that she did NOT prepare me for, in any way. She did not review my case and she was not knowledgeable about my history. She offer no solution or comfort for my diagnosis. She recommended more tests, which she never ordered. I guess she delegated that to her fellow but it never got communicated. Still waiting. She has no regard for my time. Sent me for a brain MRI. Her fellow wanted my neck done too. Dr. Schaefer refused. Now I have to go back

I waited a full hour pst my appt. time in the exam room. Overheard a doctor telling a nurse that the exam room still had blood in it from the day before. Exam room was dirty, facility smelled. Doctor Schaefer came in, refused to shake my hand. Greeted my me with a scowl. I was told I had a full hour with her, but she remained only 20 min. She was rude, cold, cruel, interrupted me constantly, dismissed my pain and symptoms. One of the worst physicians I have ever had the displeasure of seeing.
