Dr. Kathryn Grannatt, MD

I recently had a patella dislocation injury and was able to get an appointment to see Dr. Kathryn Grannatt at Beth Israel Medical Center. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, friendly and she explained and addressed all my concerns. Dr. Grannatt has excellent bedside manners. She showed me some home physical therapy. She has a great personality and I felt at ease immediately upon meeting with her and she was really easy to talk. I can't say enough nice things about her. Absolutely the best orthopedic doctor in this region and I would highly recommend Dr. Grannatt!

Dr. Grannatt is an amazing surgeon! After finding out that my original shoulder surgeon (from 20 years ago) was no longer seeing patients over 65, I had to find someone new. I based my decision to see Dr. Grannatt on her wonderful reviews and boy am I glad I found her. I had an involved repair of my rotator cuff and biceps tendon. Recovery was amazingly fast and nearly pain free. How can that be? I don't know how she works her magic. Her skill level is off the charts. Do not hesitate to let her work her magic on you, too.

Dr. Katy Grannatt is the best. Listens and responds at the highest level. Very smart communicator. Great orthopedic. Wish she could be my primary care Dr. Has fixed my knee and is fixing my other knee. My shoulder is next. Highly recommend. She is the best!

Dr Grannatt is an excellent, knowledgeable, professional and caring orthopedist. She successfully treated my shoulder (tear) and elbow’s epicondylitis. I had these problems for years. Two and a half years ago, I had a fall with a 60 lb pack on my back while on a trek in the Rockies. Dr Grannatt did my left side bicep and rotator cuff repair then because the injury to the left side was so bad as to be crippling. After that first operation, my results were so good, after following the rehab she prescribed, that my left shoulder was better than new! I knew I had ask her to do the other, less severely injured shoulder. I’m almost 70 yrs old and ready to play tennis again!

Given a grade 2/3 separated shoulder, conservative treatment preceeded reconstructive surgery. I could not be more pleased with the results. The shoulder is stable, reliable and pain free, with the added bonus of almost no scar. Dr. Grannatt is professional, precise and easy to communicate with.

Dr. Grannatt is a rock star. She is intelligent, caring, engaging, and an all around great doctor. I am so pleased with her work.

Dr. Grannatt was very professional yet had an excellent, friendly bedside manner. She came into the exam room prepared as it was evident she had reviewed my prior history of the joint in question. I felt she explained my options very well and what to do once I had further testing. I felt well taken care of and feel confident that if surgery is to be the option, then I feel she has the kind of intelligence, focus and caring attitude that will lead to a positive outcome.
