Dr. Kathryn Strother, MD

Dr. Strother is patient, kind & compassionate. She really listens to Mom & explains things so she can understand with her limited cognitive ability. She also includes the relative in the office with Mom in all discussions while still primarily focusing on Mom.

Each visit involves preparation on my part in order that Lab work and pre-visit information is complete via My Chart before I arrive and is available at my appt. time. This is done very well by Dr. Strother and her staff. I am greeted by name by the staff and my waiting time is minimal. My actual visit with Dr. Strother has 'unlimited time', as I see it......plenty of 'non-rushed time' for interaction about my present health status, review of recent lab work, addressing changes in activities that are to be considered, always some teaching aspect is presented and a plan for my next visit. Dr. Strother is warm and welcoming; easy to talk to; offers reassurance with my concerns; offers valuable information about my health status; involves me in decision-making about changes in my health care; displays genuine concern for my health and welfare. When Dr. Strother became involved in the MDVIP program, I told my husband I was joining because 'I did not want to lose her!'

Attentive and compassionate!

Having a history of kidney stones, I called, and finally reached, my doctor. She immediately asked if I would be okay with a telehealth appointment since she had not seen my recently enough to prescribe the pain medicine I was currently seeking. I agreed and she was immediately available, professional and responsive.

Dr Strother always listens to me, thoroughly explains any health issues, and also explains medicine pros and cons.

Dr Strother was so good about comparing last years and this years test results. She was patient and listened patiently to my questions.

She is always very personable and is very professional while also making me feel like a valued friend. She pays attention to any and every minor issue I have as well as very thorough in evaluating more significant symptoms. She is very gentle and understanding. I've never had a better doctor and I'm glad she's much younger than I am so she can be my doctor for the rest of my life. Her recommendations are improving my 'chronic' conditions

Dr. Strother is a highly intelligent physician who takes her time with patients. She is genuinely concerned, listens patiently, and is highly interested and invested in her patients. She has a way with her patients that makes them feel comfortable, heard, and taken care of. Dr. Strother shows concern for the whole patient, medically and overall. Always a positive and warm experience, even if the reason for the visit may not be. I highly recommend Dr. Strother and would give her 10 stars if I could.
