Dr. Kathy Irish-Benjamin, MD

If i could leave 0 stars i would. I tried scheduling all three of my kids with her. I just had our 3rd child. I’m 6 weeks postpartum and i forgot our appointment. One appointment. When i went to call back Monday to reschedule, her staff was yelling at me on the phone and saying they couldn’t take any of my children now. That “all it takes is a phone call to cancel” and how “we come in on Saturday as a convenience to parents, so since you failed to do that we cannot see any of your children!” Have some grace for new moms. She was so rude and disrespectful. Don’t recommend them at all. Don’t know how they let people like that work in a doctors office!

We were told that they would not release our sons shot records until he came in for missing shots. My husband and son sat in the waiting room for 40 mins before finally being put into an exam room. They then waited another 40 mins after seeing the Dr briefly. My husband had to ask them what was going on and caught major attitude from the Dr and staff. This was for a check up, not a major surgery - it’s not OK to make patients wait like that. And after all that, it turns out my son wasn’t even due for any shots and they made us schedule the appointment just to waste our time and delay his start at a new school for no reason. Appointment was scheduled at 5pm, they walked out at 6:30.

Dr. Benjamin has been our pediatrician for 16 years. She answers all your questions and doesn't hesitate on getting the children in no matter what the problem is. Shows understanding, caring, and compassion to both parents and patients She truly is a blessing in the medical world.

After moving her practice to another location, I had a difficult time being able to schedule appts. It took weeks for someone to finally return my calls after speaking and leaving messages with the call center multiple times. Finally, I was able to get my children in for a visit. We sat in the room for an hour. No one came in to check on us. No one came in to let us know it would be a little longer. Nothing. She is a very nice Dr. I think she should address the issues she has with scheduling, reception and wait times.

She is great with kids... Very loving n caring.. Truly cares about her patience..she finds out problem n solution in babies.. Very gentle... She listens to me n concerns n helps us all out.. I love her much.. Wish there more doctor like her

She has been my kids doctor since they were babies. She always listens is very knowledgeable and had great bed side mannor

She talks to and with the children. She is caring, kind, takes her time. We moved out of the area but still keep her as my daughters primary dr. She and or staff are just a pleasure to deal with

Dr. Irish-Benjamin is one of the best pediatricians in the area. She was highly recommended to me by another physician and has been my boys doctor since they were born. They adore her. She is very thorough, and knowledgeable. She takes her time when examining them and answers all of my questions. She is thoughtful, caring and truly loves her patients. Her call back response time is the quickest of any office I have dealt with. I would highly recommend Dr. Irish-Benjamin to anyone.

Dr. Irish Benjamin is my children's doctor and we would not see anyone else. She is thorough, concerned, warm, knowledgable , caring, responsive and she has a wonderful rapport with the girls. We have followed her each time her office had moved. Thank you Dr. Benjamin.

I have personally was a patient of Dr. Benjamin in earlier years, along with my younger brother, my 2 nieces and nephew. I can speak on all of our behalf a that dr Benjamin was kind, patient, through, and knowledgable. Because of her caring personality I decided to choose her as my daughters pediatrician. She has gone above and beyond helping my husband and I at night time over the phone and on weekends. She has been helpful and very personable to deal with. I would not consider going elsewhere!

I have three boys and she always knows which one is which by name. She is always kind and caring with my boys. She understands them and has always taken time to explain anything going on with them to me health wise. When my middle child was born with growth issues she always took time to explain to me what his body was and wasn't doing. She has h always soothed all my worries and there are a lot when you have three crazy boys. I recommend her to everyone.

We love Dr. Benjamin. We have been seeing her since my youngest was born. I have 3 children, one of whom has ADHD. We were trying to find a pediatrician who was willing to work with us with controlling K's issues. She is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I have never felt brushed off for calling for any reason. The first time I met her she was talking to my 2 day old and 2 year old like they were people in their own right. It was awesome. So glad we found Dr. Benjamin!

She is an awesome dr whatever is needed she takes care of very caring and right on top of everything I have been with her since my first daughter seven years ago her new office in new Hartford is move convient as well with night and weekend hours

I've been bringing my 6 kids to dr. Benjamin for most of their lives. A few of them for their entire life. I trust her judgement and know my kids are in great hands. She takes time to listen to my concerns, talks to my children,and always explains everything so I understand.

I love Dr. Benjamin! She's kind and caring and returns phone calls HERSELF!!! She truly knows each child and family. I would recommend her 100%!!

Every time we go to Dr. Benjamin for anything, she is very personable and knows exactly what is wrong and helps out with every situation. Anytime; I do not an appointment, I can text her and we are seen the very next day. I am glad I made the decision to change pediatricians.

I would recommend Dr Irish-Benjamin to anyone that asks for a pediatrician for there children. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty for me and my son. Being a single mom with a son with challenges I could not ask for a better support system for him. On a whim I have called her and she has gotten us in for an appt or called in a script if needed. She is the only pediatrician I know that has evening hours and Saturday hours for working parents. Thank you Dr Benjamin for all you do!!!!

I love Dr. Irish-BENJAMIN any time I have a question about my little one I can call her office and she gets back to me within the hour it can be about anything and she will answer. And if there is a problem she will get my little one in that same day. She is the best Dr. I have ever had.

I am a mother of 3. My daughters have been patients of Dr. Benjamin since 2004. Dr. Benjamin has been the most professional, thorough, compassionate, patient and personable pediatrician. In any event my children need to be seen, Dr. Benjamin's office is always very accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Benjamin and would never change anything about the service that she provides. Furthermore, her knowledge, experience and level of competence always exceeds my expectations.
