I've known and gone to Dr. Kathyann Duncan for many years. Cons:The wait times are longThe new office staff needs more training and is not proactive about calling back patients (Christine was the best employee in the office and she has been gone for quite a while)Definitely need to follow up on your prescriptions if you speak to someone at the deskPros:Dr. Duncan herself I have undergone several life changing medical emergencies and if it wasn't for Dr. Duncan, I would not be here today. The reason for the long wait times are often because of the time she takes to go through each patients chart and answer thorough questions or find answers amongst her colleagues. I generally request to be her first appointment of the day to avoid the long wait.

This is difficult for me to write as I have been seeing Dr. Kathy Duncan for many years. Throughout the years, I’ve experienced long wait times, the office staff does not answer the phone, and a decline in her presence (my past 2 annual appointments, I was seen by medical students) but I’ve continued to push through because I’m comfortable with her. On 12/19/23, I scheduled an appointment because I felt awful and I regret paying her practice for the service I received. I was told at the conclusion of the visit that they would be sending prescriptions to the pharmacy and it’s 2 days later and they have not done so yet. It’s insane how you’re charged a co-pay upfront expecting to receive quality care and you get the opposite. I should have given my money to urgent care!!!! Time to start looking for a new PCP. So disappointed!!!

I have not been going to Dr. Duncan for long . Only since April. I have yet to meet her. I have neen being seen by Dr.M. I thought Dr. M was good at the beginning. She was very attentive, she had alot of patience and took time to answe any and every question or concern that I had. After that furst visit everything went down hill. The wait times for my prescriptions are ridiculous. If I need a pre authorization for a prescription she doesn't want to take the time to call the insurance company or pharmacy. She wants me to call back and forth. This is her job. I'm a diabetic. I need my insulin, test strips and other meds. daily. They canceled my appointment 15 mins. before I was scheduled to be there. They are very UNPROFESSIONAL. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Duncan has been my family doctor for over 11 years; I followed her throughout several of her office locations. As a professional, she provides outstanding and knowledgeable service. In addition, to courteous, caring, and patience that is sometimes lacked among physicians. The wait is always worth it because she gives you a personal touch and a listening ear to express your health concerns. I never feel rushed or as if my health concerns are not valid.

I have been with Dr Duncan for over 10 years and although you have to wait she is the most humblest caring doctor I have ever been too. She takes time to listen to you and is willing to help you get better in anyway she can. I hope she will continue being my doctor even if I have to travel. I wouldn't exchange her for no one.. Dr. Kathyann Duncan is one of the most personable physicians I’ve ever met. She treats her clients with respect and sincerity. She is thorough and works with all her patients regardless of their socioeconomic status. I have had the honor of being a patient of Dr. Duncan for approximately 3 years and have recommended several others to her so they too can share my experience. I love her and would give her 10 stars if it were possible as we need more healthcare professionals like her around.

Dr. Duncan is the worst doctor that I’ve ever had and I’m almost 50 years old. She does not care about her patients at all. She leave town without notice. Cancel appointments at the last minute and forget about the wait time. You will be in there for hours so don’t make any plans after your appointment. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTORS OFFICE TO ANYONE!!

Terrible, doesn’t have on call doctor, leaves the country unannounced and her patients left in the wind, forget the ridiculous wait times. The staff is unprofessional, always messes up messages, which go unreturned. If you have option you should try that before making an appointment with Kathy. Chances are you will not see her but rather doctors in training will be taking care of you while dr Duncan does nothing in the back if she’s even present in the first place, clearly not a real doctor.

I've been a pt of Dr. Duncan for about 4 yrs now Out of convenience. But she is thus far the worst! Either she's over an hour late or your waiting over an hour to be seen! Not to mention you can never get through to the office over the phones and when your in the back with her you basically run the show her energy is so low!

Very negative. I have visited her a couple of times, with scheduled appts, but each time the wait was more than an hour and a half. I checked, with other patients in the room, and they had very similar experiences. The doctor was supposed to get back to me and I had to leave 2 followup messages before I heard from her.

I've been a patient with Dr Duncan for almost 10 years, she's in my opinion one of the most knowledgeable and honest doctors I've encountered. It can take a while to see her as her schedule doesn't allow her much time, if she doesn't know an answer to your situation she will refer you to a specialist, never had a problem getting my referrals to the specialists, her office is busy and there can be some delays however I trust her knowledge as she is not only a physician but also a professor. ?

Dr. Duncan is awful. Run! Has made many mistakes when filling out forms for referrals. Patients can was for 2 to 3 hours to see her. Not very smart.

I was there for 3 hours. My appointment was at 5:30 i didn't get into the room until 7. The doctor did not come in until 8:15. I only talked to her for 15 minutes. Highly doubt I can switch doctors so i have to stay.
