HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Dr. Katie Reid is a superb physician. I have been going to her for almost 6 years now as my primary care doctor. I can't express how sincere Dr. Reid is when it comes to patient care. She provides me with effective recommendations benefitting my wellness, and her expertise, professionalism and extraordinary ability to provide best possible care is exemplary. I now feel better and live life to the fullest in my retirement years. The office staff including receptionists and nurses take pride in their work. They’re cool too!!

Don’t judge her on the facility
Dr Reid is great! Largo Diagnostic not so much. But don’t judge her on the facility and their mishaps. Along with staffing issues. I still see her.

Seems too busy to do a thorough job.
Went to her for leg pain, small lump on my thigh and heel pain. Asked for ortho referral. She ignored request and ordered X-ray of the hip and ultra sound of lump. Said office would call with results. More than a week later I called about results myself. Nurse called me back the next day. Said I had acute degenerative arthritis of the spine. No follow up needed no referral no advice on pain. Said “ Just exercise and do some physical therapy on my own.” Obviously didn’t care about my health.

Family Medicine Specialist Dr. Katie Reid
I feel compelled to take this initiative to insure that Family Medicine Specialist Dr. Katie Reid of Diagnostic Clinic Medical Group in Largo gets well-earned positive feedback. As 2022 draws to a close, I want to say that as a new patient Dr. Reid handled my medical needs with complete professionalism and dedication yearlong. Her recommended treatments for my illnesses including medications greatly influenced the wellness that I am experiencing today. Everything feels just right!!!! As a 'young' physician, Dr. Reid displays exceptional knowledge of current treatments for my illness, as well medications that worked. She cares!!!! Coupled with her excellent listening skills, communications and patience, Dr. Reid, has a great career ahead in healthcare. Highly recommended!!!!

Family member had been complaining for a year of symptoms, Dr. Reid said it was acid reflux, months later his blood test came back abnormal, Dr. Reid ignored it for 3 weeks, we called numerous times to get an appointment with no luck, finally the office suggested going to the emergency room. We took him to the emergency room that same day where he found out he had stage 2 cancer and died 6 months later. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Dr. Reid or her office.

Employs Rude Condescending Judgmental Staff
Employs Rude Condescending Judgmental Staff Particularly Megan Deedrich. Stay far away from this office. They look at your medical history and if you are taking medication they don’t approve of, they judge you before you walk in the door without even meeting you. They will not listen to you or care about you…barely even look at you, while talking down to you. If you like being treated terribly and talked to in a superior way with not one care in the world about you, then go see Meghan Deedrich at Katie Reid’s office, she is great at that. Stay far away!!!

Dr Reid is my first ever Primary care Dr who truly cares about her patients. She is trying her best and has done more for me than my previous experiences with my primary care Dr. I value her input and she goes beyond to make sure she finds out what is going on with your health. If it was not for her I would never have found out I have lupus. She saved my life. I am grateful for her.

I went to go see Dr Reid at American Family Care for a routine issue that I had. I have used the urgent care facility before and was prescribed the appropriate antibiotics and pain medication on 2 occasions with in 1 year time. She refused to prescribed the pain medication I had used before when experiencing the same issue. She out right refused. She prefers to protect herself than help patients. Dr Reid, poor bedside manner and has no empathy. I do recommend the urgent facility. Not Dr Reid.
