I have had No issues with Bagchi, very through
I've seen Bagchi several times over years, knee surgery on right, Now care for left. I've never had any issues him explained everything, listened to me and answered my concerns. As far as wait times honestly people who complain must think the world revolves around them. Any place you go you don't know what is happening before you get there or what kind of case load or surgeries a surgeon has, so how is it your being judgemental. People need to grow up. Also taller guy wish I knew his name who did my cortisone shot years ago, glad to see is still there. Did a great job with my left knee. THANK YOU BOTH

I fell and had a spiral fracture in my tibia and fibula. Although the ortho interns at Albany Med were keen to do surgery, Bagchi reviewed my setting and felt the decision hasty. He clearly explained what issues would cause us to need to do surgery after all, and was able to keep my break stable in a full leg cast. We have successfully avoided surgery. He listens to my concerns throughout the process.

Stay away from this doctor!! Does not do his job. Does not communicate with you at all. Does not allow you to ask questions or speak. When leaving his office you will not know anything about your health or treatment required.

I went to see him about a shoulder issue. He had an x-ray done & it showed arthritis. Said I had a frozen shoulder. Said there was nothing to do except physical therapy. He then had to add “so no surgery” which was good. The way he said it was like I was there to have him say I needed surgery. That’s the last thing I wanted. I just wanted the pain to go away. He never suggested a Cortisone injection. Was very condescending & almost mean. I am a nurse & have been for over 40 years & still work full time. I use my arm a lot. I didn’t totally agree with him but decided to do the therapy & see if it helped. Well my shoulder is getting worse. I went to Urgent Care because I am not going back to that doctor. After explaining what was going on the first thing that doctor said was I needed a Cortisone injection! I have one schedule with a different doctor & I’m hoping it helps, that & exercises. I will never go back to that doctor & would not recommend him.

I didn't really get much out of this. Follow up with staff to get the pads he recommended after finding no prescription had been called in was terrible. One even hung up on me! The staff in the office was fine during my appt. The ones I got on the phone were awful. They refused to mail me the pads after saying ooops we should have given you those when you left....
