Dr. Kay Elledge, MD

I went to see Dr Elledge and she seems like a nice person. The appointment was OK she told me I need to go see a specialist. It took the office MONTHS to send the referral and then they sent the wrong code so I got sent back to them to fix it. I called back and now it's been a month, they were supposed to get back to me after they fix it. I can't get them on the line to followup. It's always their answering service, they have 2 hour lunch break then after 2pm it's still the answering service . My specialist is not urgent but I did not expect to be MONTHS before I see them. I would not recommend this practice.

I’ve had a great experience with her

I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am a doctor, I cannot recommend this specialist, I received bad care and a bad experience with her. She is not interested in the patients and she did not remember what she herself said in the previous consultations, she forgot to ask for the pertinent exams (so you had to be calling the nurses to remind them to request the exams and it could take two weeks until you could achieve them). I suffer from hypothyroidism and had 1 miscarriage threat so I am undergoing treatment for this with medications. To control my hypothyroidism, they requested an exam for TSH, the last one was 7.6 (elevated) in July (when I had this result the doctor told me that I should call my primary doctor that she should solve it, once my primary doctor helped me and adjusted the dose she told me that I should continue to be seen by the gynecologist, not by her) in the next consultation I told her about the adjustment they had made and she told me that we would request a new exam both

Dr. Ellege is a very nice women but I was not happy with my care in her office at all. I went in for check in my 8 month she puts the gel on my belly tells my husband a long story then wipes the jelly off and tell us the babies heart beat sounds great. Without even actually listening to it. I had to wait 2 month for her to actually take a look at my vagina after giving birth, this was after I had an appointment where she just asked me about my vagina and did no check and sent me home. Would not recommend.

Worse damn office for prenatal care. I came in already 5 months just finding out. They made me wait for two hours. With no type of blood pressure check, weight nothing just gave me paperwork for bloodwork and comeback in 4weeks to do a Pap smear. I was so caught off guard and upsets. They visit was on a Wednesday the next Wednesday they had not put through my authorization to have an ultrasound and now said they are putting it through to be expedited. Thank goodness I found Dr. Elledge as she is truly one-of-a-kind with her incredible depth of knowledge, compassionate care, and the amount of time she spends with you to explain the procedure is beyond what you would expect. She treated me for an unfortunate "benefit" of growing older. Even though I feel 26, at 56 certain parts of my body have decided to betray me by replacing what used to fun and enjoyable with extreme blinding pain that is a combination of fire and more fire. Dr. Elledge is the best ever, but I get frustrated trying to reach someone in her office during business hours and no one answers the phone. They don't even respond to messages I leave with the answering service. I've been trying for several days to get a prescription filled and nothing gets called into the pharmacy and no one from her office calls.
