Very professional and genuinely cared for my health. Listened to me and spent all the time I needed with me. Can’t recommend her enough. Knows women’s health. All the other doctors and nurses came to her for advice!

Dr Mickelson has been my health care provider for many years. I trust her and appreciate her patience, knowledge and honest care. Enough so that that she was seeing two generations of my family. Was with her for 15 years in St Paul but then she moved to Northfield. So like a few others, I followed her down there. However the commute got to be a little long. Later I decided she was worth the commute but found out she left Northfield (along with over 20 other providers the past few years). Something fishy going on down there. Talked to one of her old nurses and found out she left practice to take full time care of her dying father. Guess if that's jumping around, we should all be so lucky. But who cares about online integrity when you dont need to have any? Anyway, just wanted to leave my two cents. Hope she comes back to practice soon, I miss her care and advice. one of the best! Highly recommend her for your care provider.

Missed my papillary thyroid cancer (saw her late March 2017, was diagnosed at Mayo clinic in early June 2017.) Did a vault smear incorrectly (didn't get a sample that could be tested.) Total mess. Left the practice I was seen at only months into joining. Appears to jump around.

Dr. Mickelson was panicky and nervous during my labor, which was not at all calming. If I hadn't had an excellent nurse to offset the doctor's anxiety, I would have been too terrified to focus on labor.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mickelson?
Dr. Mickelson utilized past experience instead of evidence based practice which lead to her to misdiagnose an emergency medical condition. She then ignored my call the next day when I reported continued severe pain. The second ob gyn I saw immediately took me in for a necessary emergency surgery which I should have had 3 days prior when I initially saw Dr. Mickelson.
