Absolute Best Orthopedic Surgeon
I had a serious fall when I was substitute teaching little first graders and shattered my radius and broke my ulna bone next to my wrist. The Methodist Hospital's ER got me in to see Dr. Izadi the very next day and surgery the day after that. He is the kindest and most personable doctor I have ever met! He took time to listen and was straightforward with what he might need to do once he started surgery. Every time I mentioned his name from ER staff, orthopedics staff, and my own primary care PA, they always mentioned that he is the very best hand, wrist, elbow surgeon in the area without a doubt. He and his staff go way above and beyond and with personality A. The icing on the cake? He actually called me at home in the evening to check on me and see if I had any questions!!!! Who does that? Dr. Izadi does!!! I strongly recommend him for any of your orthopedic needs. He is THE BEST!

The best I've been to!
I've broken both wrists twice, had carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgery, and I have arthritis in my hands. Dr. Izadi is the best hand & wrist MD I've seen in decades. He really listens to his patients and he is an excellent physician. It is easy to get an appointment and the staff are awesome. I am so thankful to have found him!

Great Experience
Brutal honesty ... my first impression of him was that he was the stereotypical arrogant surgeon. Loved his PA Dawn but he seemed overconfident and what he said about how my recovery would be from carpal tunnel release surgery completely conflicted with what I was hearing from others who had had the surgery recently as well as from information on reputable health system's websites. I work in healthcare and even the clinicians I work with were like "um ... that doesn't sound right". Fast forward to surgery number one - Literally EVERYTHING he said was correct. I had surgery on a Wednesday and was back at work on Monday typing away with no issues. By a month later and surgery on the other hand I trusted every word out of his mouth. I also noticed how the staff treated him during that second surgery when I was less scared. He is clearly not just respected but adored. Don't let the confidence scare you away! Had I known it would be this easy I'd have had surgery years ago!

I had a small lump on my left wrist & had some mild discomfort when flexing my wrist. The staff checked the range of motion of my wrist and hand. Then took 2 x-rays of my wrist. Doctor Kayvon came in and also checked my wrist range of motion and then said I have some arthritis in my wrist that is showing up in the x-rays and that was the cause of my discomfort. He didn't try to push any procedure but informed me that if my wrist arthritis gets to the point that I need relief from the pain that he can help at that point and informed me of options that can help. I will definitely refer all my family and friends to Dr Kayvon Izadi.

Dr. Izadi is the most patient and thorough doctor I have ever visited. He was my third opinion and the only surgeon that did not recommend surgery. My wrist just needed more time to heal with physical therapy. Had I went ahead with surgery I would have lost some of my wrist movements.

Well the experience started out very good. Then went south when the injections did not work and he said that surgery would not really help. I was really in a lot of pain and I got the impression that he thought I was just wanting pain meds, that was not even close to what I wanted. I really just wanted help. After seeing a different Doctor it turns out that I need a bone removed in my wrist. All she did was an X-Ray and she did not even have to point the area out, I could see it. It really makes me sad that more investigating was not done.

I developed an infection in my hand after stabbing myself while taking out an avocado pit. Dr. Izadi got me in the same day that I called his office and performed surgery the next day. He is very personable and caring. He explained everything thoroughly and even called me that night to see how I was doing and to answer any questions. He is a credit to his profession and I will definitely see him again if necessary.

Kayvon did a quick infection hand surgery on my over lunch, after getting me an appointment in under an hour after being referred by my primary. Phenomenally professional, relatively painless surgery (getting the numbing shot was the worst part), and my hand is healing well.

I highly recommend Dr. Izadi. I recently opted for surgery to alleviate some of the pain that I was experiencing due to arthritis of the right hand. Dr. Izadi and his staff were amazing. Surgery is never fun, but Dr. Izadi and his staff made me feel as comfortable as one could possibly be in that situation. I also know that I could not have picked a better surgeon!

He greeted me with a smile, was friendly and professional, listened carefully and clearly explained what my issue was. I have issues with anxiety and he was so approachable that it put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. My only complaint was that they double booked and I didn't get seen until over an hour after my appointment time. Dr. Izadi was awesome though!

I saw Dr. Izadi after I accidentally shut my right hand into a door. The top portion of my middle finger was torn off in the process. While Dr. Izadi was caring, I felt like he did not have my best interest in mind. He wanted to amputate my middle at the top knuckle joint rather than explore options to maintain the middle finger length and try to salvage any fingernail. The surgery that Dr. Izadi might have been easier for him, but not me. I got a second opinion & saw another physician.

I had a surgery consult with Dr. Izadi today and am extraordinarily impressed with his professionalism, demeanor, and approach-ability. He was very thorough with explaining the options I had for removing a ganglion cyst. I respected his expertise and opted for removing the fluid in the office without surgery. He was very gentle in performing the procedure and explaining the possibilities of the cyst returning. If it does I will not hesitate for one second to return to see him.

Performed carpal tunnel surgery on my dominant hand under local anesthetic in about 10 minutes. No pain no problem. Went back to work same day and used computer. Worked to lower hand swelling and soreness went away fast. By far the best surgeon I've had!

Just the best guy for hands. I'm so happy I got to him. Really did a great job. Eight days after surgery and I can already tell I have more strength coming back to my hand. Two trigger fingers and carpal tunnel. (Yes, I'm still being careful)! I would highly recommend him.
