Dr. Keerat Singh, MD

Dr. Singh did a total hip replacement for me. He is easy to talk to and was very good at communicating what to expect from the surgery. He has given me a new lease on life. The surgery and subsequent pain free existence are better than I expected. He is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

I read all his reviews, and found them to be accurate. He played out options, shared pros and cons, and left it up to me. After discussing it with my Husband, we decided Surgery was better now, before I became totally incapacitated. Surgery went smoothly. 2 weeks after total replacement, I am able to walk on my own. Very understanding, answers any and all questions, always available, I can give my opinion and he will let me know if he agrees or not and why. some doctors make me nervous, but not this doctor. He is one of my favorite doctors. Simply the best. Awesome.

Life restored!! I’ve had many of knee surgeries over my life and knew eventually it would need to be replaced. I was looking for a Dr that would care for me like my previous long term Dr did in another state I used to live in and what I found in Dr. Singh was that and more. Dr Singh, was not only inclusive in having me look at and discussing the different options but he went over the Pro’s and Con’s, took his time in each appointment to talk things out with me and ultimately made me feel that WE, him, his staff and I were a team working towards a common goal RESTORATION of having an active life. If you are looking for a Dr that is caring, that listens and most importantly explains and wants you to ask questions so that you can make the best decision to get you back on your feet, I would highly recommend Dr. Singh. I will never forget the question Dr. Singh asked me after getting my history, what are your goals and what do you hope to accomplish afterwards? Great Dr. and great team!

My mom needed total knee replacement my aunt had it done 2 years prior really bad experience done at a different location. We were nervous about my mom getting it done. Dr. Si gh and his staff are absolutely amazing. They are miracle workes. They actually care about you the patient not the money which is nice. Very professional but very kind and understanding. I recently fractured my kneecap from a fall. I could not have asked for a lovelier person or a more highly skilled surgeon to tend to my injury. Dr. Singh worked me into his schedule right away. From the moment I met Dr. Singh, he exhibited warmth, compassion and empathy. He explained the surgical procedure to me thoroughly and even called me at home to make sure I did not have additional questions or concerns. In the waiting area, prior to my surgery, Dr. Singh came by to check on me and to make sure my son had no other questions. In the OR after surgery, Dr. Singh reassured me of the excellent outcome. Dr. Singh warmth, compassion, and humble demeanor inspired my confidence and made an unpleasant experience as pleasant as such an experience could be. Thank you, Dr. Singh, the humanity you brought to this experience was both rare and healing.

I was referred to Dr. Singh after I found myself rapidly losing mobility. I immediately felt that Dr. Singh was one of those rare physicians that actually meets you at a peer to peer level and listens. He was very compassionate and thorough in identifying the problem and offered me both the surgery required and the medications that made my daily life until my hip surgery bearable. He explained the procedure in detail as well as what to expect afterwards so there were no surprises. Both his sincerity and transparency in my treatment are greatly appreciated. I now have a much more positive outlook and have plans to both travel, and improve my lifestyle due to the outcome of the successful replacement of my hip. I came to Dr. Singh in hopes that he would do a hip replacement for me after getting many cortisone shots and the pain that I was experiencing. He told me that I was not ready for surgery after looking at my xray. He wanted me to do 3 months of therapy. Well I was in so much pain and so uncomfortable that I could barely do therapy. I got a second opinion and took another x ray and was told that I was pretty much bone on bone. This new doctor (from another practice) did my hip replacement and I feel so much better. I am very disappointed with Dr. Singh and his reluctance to help me in spite of my pain. I gave Emory more credit than this.

One example of going above and beyond by Dr. Singh and Staff (which were many) through my journey was the following: Feeling a bit apprehensive before surgery, I asked Dr. Singh if he could join my Daughter and I in a prayer before my procedure. Dr. Singh was gracious enough to join us in prayer, which really provided a calming effect. Just amazing to me that I can walk into a Hospital setting at 7am and through Dr. Singh's (and Team's) steady hand's and professionalism, I literally walked out of this Facility at 4pm with a new titanium R Hip. I recently needed left hip replacement surgery. After an Emory referral, Dr. Singh was my orthopedist. I'm 75 years old and I wasn't looking forward to this surgery and recovery. Dr. Singh is an excellent surgeon and communicator. His office staff is very experienced and knowledgeable. During the entire process of identifying the problem at my initial visit, the surgery and recovery, and the follow-up visits, Dr. Singh was extremely kind and professional. As a result of his care and the Emory facilities, my experience with a hip replacement was so much better than I expected. I would recommend Dr. Singh to anyone looking for a skilled orthopedic surgeon.

Highly skilled orthopedist. Great communicator - answers all questions, friendly, easy to talk to, puts you at ease. Dr. Keerat Singh of Emory/Smyrna replaced my hip in August of 2021. Surgery and recovery went well - no problems. Dr. Singh assembles an excellent team. Nurse Megan is amazing. I'm from Marietta but chose Emory/Smyrna location for convenience and I'm glad I did. The surgery was at Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Tucker, GA, right off the I-285 - it's easy to find.

I had never seen a Doctor that cares so much about his patients! I had knee replacement surgery. Dr. Singh called me at home the day before surgery to answer any questions and calm me down. He is very knowledgeable, great surgeon and an incredible human being. I highly recommend him.

Had emergency surgery on broken femur. Dr. Singh was compassionate to a worried spouse as well as to me, the patient. 3 months later and bones are healed and I am walking with barely a limp. So thankful for Dr Singh!

Dr Singh has been a godsend for my situation. After multiple failed knee joints and being told by several doctors that there was nothing that could be done and that I would have to live with the pain for the rest of my life...Dr Singh has completed a very successful revision and I am on the way to full recovery!! I have been dealing with right knee structural issues for almost four years. The hospital and orthopedic group I have been going to were not listening to me and my concerns. I was referred to Emory orthopedics by my primary care doctor. When I first met Megan and Dr. Singh it was obvious they were patient centric. He listened to me and based on the x-rays, he recommended robotic surgery given my age (49). The experience I had with the surgery and post op PT have been world class. Do not have any surgery until you have a consult with Dr. Singh. I am four weeks out from surgery and am amazed.

I am a 72 yr old female and very athletic I fell and broke my right hip in June and it took 2 Days to get surgery scheduled due to other health issues Dr Singh was called in due to the potential health issues of my case and I am so very thankful he was. He gives a new meaning to patient care and technology. He listened to me and my family concerning my active life so he could make the best informed decision for my needs.
