Do not recommend this doctor. He may have been a decent doctor 25 years ago when he put tubes in my ears. But he isn’t that now. He talks over you. Won’t listen to any of your concerns. Rude and condescending. Literally would not remove an old tube that was laying in the ear canal (and has been for MONTHS). It would’ve taken 5 seconds. Prescribed nasal spray and allergy meds. Just like all the rest of the doctors who want to make a quick buck and not actually try and find out what the real issue is. Just retire and go home already!

Very rude & unprofessional
For each of my husband's two appointments we were in the waiting room for an hour before seeing the doctor. Each time the excuse was a previous patient had arrived late. It would have helped if the staff had apologized and explained the long wait time. When we mentioned to Dr Alexander about the wait time we were told that he was doing us a favor by seeing us because we were referred by a fellow physician. When he said that we asked that our co-payment be refunded and walked out.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Alexander , after a short hospital stay in the children’s hospital, suffering from parotitis. He was very rude, got upset after finding out that the hospital did not give me copies of her records to bring with me. Shook his head at me multiple times, blew at me when I would answer questions! I told him I had pictures to document her parotitis, and he told me he was not interested in the pictures. He refused to see her until he received medical records, which I do understand the medical record ordeal, but there was no reason for the rude demeanor. He told me he could not reinvent the wheel. He ended up walking out of the room while I was trying to clear up confusion over the medical records. We left, never to return again. Someone this rude should be seeing a specialist, not being a specialist! He needs to retire if he is that miserable!

Dr. Alexander was incredibly rude! He told my father to stop talking when he was only trying to answer the doctor’s questions. When I spoke, the doctor told me to stop talking. He didn’t listen to anything we had to say. I finally had to raise my hand so he would let me speak! He also made dangerous recommendations to my father about thickening liquids or doing a chin tuck without a swallow study. I’m a speech pathologist and thankfully, knew better. Do not recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Alexander for more years than I want to admit (30 years) and during that time he has always been the consummate professional. He has performed ear and sinus surgeries on me and my results have been excellent. I have recommended him to many friends and feel the utmost confidence in his abilities.

I had what I thought to be the start of an earache, which was hurting down into my jaw...Dr Alexander came in, and took a report I had brought with me, and jotted everything he asked me on back of the paper, and had a girl that was typing it all on the computer too...He then looked at my throat, ears, and proceeded to tell me to make an appointment for a hearing test!! Not one word about my jaw, ear, etc!! I left there never to return!! Totally a waste of money...Oh BTW, I had an abscess tooth which a dentist took care of!

Dr. Alexander was harsh and rude. He interrupted my father, who was very ill and simply trying to answer his questions. I had hard copies of all his medical records and a typed narrative of the dates and doctors he'd already seen. Frankly, I was very fearful that he might have throat or jaw cancer. My dad was so hurt and angry by his abrasive manner and blatant indifference that he walked out of the office. It wouldn't have been helpful to stay, since he recommended going to the ER. Awful care!

I have been to central Ky ENT many times before but this was my first time with Dr Alexander. Dr Alexander has to be the rudest Dr I have ever met. He asked me to explain my symptoms, but then kept telling me not to talk he needed to think. He was also very rude to my family also telling them not to speak. needless to say we got a second opinion from a different Dr in the same office and Dr Alexander's diagnosis was wrong. I will definitely not return to see him again.

I have had several appts with Dr. Alexander and they where all pleasant. He did my sinus surgery and my tonsillectomy. They both went smoothly I had no pain at all with the sinus surgery. I would recommend him to a family member or friend.
