Dr. Carmack is my 92 year old Mama’s doctor and has been for many years. He is a great, knowledgeable doctor and a Christian first and foremost. He has a wonderful bedside manner and cares very much for my Mama’s well being. He’s the only doctor my Mama wants to see. Keep up the good work Dr. Carmack!

This is my mother's doc for several yrs. She's 85 yrs old, suffers from osteoporosis & in the past 5 yrs has undergone 2 mastectomies for breast cancer and had 5 vertebrae repaired due to fractures related the osteo. Dr. Carmack has refused to prescribe pain meds for her and passed along erroneous info to Dr. Long at the pain clinic who now refuses to prescribe pain meds claiming she is seeking pain meds to get high. Really!? She's 85 & has a wrecked spine.Trying to find her a new doc.

Please read this carefully as it may save you or your loved one. Go to NCMedBoard. org and research this doctor before making an appointment with Dr. Carmack. He has a very serious and disturbing licensing action history that makes one wonder how he can even practice anymore. NC does not compel doctors to tell patients when they are facing these charges, which places us at risk. Thank me later.

Satisfied with Doctor, however the office staff is terrible. You can never speak to a actual person and phone calls are not returned in a timely manner, if they even return the call!! The staff just don't seem to care.
