Injection caused spinal cord bruise
I had received an injection and he claimed it was just the numbing agent but my arm jolted in pain. I was wheeled out of the room and cried in pain. Dr Jarvey refused to speak to me about what happened. I went to the hospital and mri showed an injection mark to the spinal cord. Bruising it and causing massive nerve pain in my arm. My neurologist said it would take 6 months to heal but i was lucky i was not paralyzed. DR JARVEY IS RECKLESS AND WHEN HE MESSES UP HE TAKES NO ACCOUNTABILITY! I just needed care. Accidents happen but this was negligent to cause harm and leave a patient in debilitating painI looked into suing but my medical bills are paid by my employer and i can still do my job. Pain and suffering is hard but my lawyer said we should wait and see how the recovery goes. I also never got a bill. He is guilty and knows it!

Refuses to see patients following issues
Dr. Javery spent an hour with me in my clinic initial visit & appeared knowledgeable. I went into the procedure and I was told I was only just poked with the pain sedation injection in my neck when my left arm shot with shooting pain. I was wheeled out of the room and was told by the nurse that the doctor would not speak to me about what just happened. While I was upset that the procedure had to be stopped it was the most upsetting part that no one could explain why my arm had this extreme nerve pain. I was sent home with no further direction on how to address this extreme pain level. My partner drove me to the ER and I was given pain medication and a CT scan to confirm nothing major had occurred from this injection. I wish, for his future patients, that he would personally talk to the upset post op patient and guide them into next steps. Any guidance to a scared, in pain, patient is valued and should never be forgotten- FIRST DO NO HARM.

PAIN That No One Else Can Help
Dr. Javery cared about the things I was telling him about my pain. He listened to me. He would touch the parts of my back to make sure he had the correct spots. He didn't just say give me a number; he'd asked me to describe the pain. 'Was this pain here the same as the pain here or is it different?' he would say. He took his time and didn't rush me to the point that when I got home, I realized I forgot to tell him about something or about other areas. I even got time to ask him questions. He has been the same great doctor now as he was then. He gave me release from the pain and helped me to feel like a normal human being.Things have changed in how i am seen now, I don't get to see him as often, but his staff is just as great as he is. They are knowledgeable in their fields and care just as much.I tell everyone I talk to that has pain about DR KEITH JAVERY.

A very poor excuse for a Doctor. He was unwilling to correct huge mistakes in his notes, even after I sent him a letter pointing out his misstatements about my well documented genetic disorder. I found out he simply threw my letter away. He wrote in my permanent medical record he didn’t think I had what three separate Geneticists from three different medical institutions concluded I have. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he knew I was fighting for Social Security Disability. His intentional misstatement could have ruined my case because SSD Judges are looking for reasons to deny your case. He didn’t care about the horrific devastation his false claim would cause me. Please don’t put yourself at his mercy. He has none. I resent my letter certified mail and threatened to file a complaint with LARA (Michigan’s Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) which oversees Medical Complaints. If you’re needing Social Security Disability DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. He lacks a CONSCIENCE.

I arrived at my appointment time of 9:50. I was finally seen at 11:22. This hasn't changed any from three years ago. Again wanted to try the injections but had those, plus the spine stimulator inserted which also didn't help. He also suggested surgeries. At that my neurologist informed him that would cause me to be paralyzed. In his report he stated he spent an hour with me, actually it was 26 minutes. Again referring me to the injections. He should have respect for his patients that have medical issues and have difficulty waiting that amount of time to be seen. Needless to say I would not be returning. Also I don't know how many targets they use for their unruin test but probably should add more. Bring a book if you make an appointment. Very disappointing, and time wasted.

Dr. Javery prescribe me the fentanyl patch and the patch overdose me. I was in the hospital for four days. After I complained about being given a patch that would overdose me they found a reason to drop me from the practice also at that time I had been put on Medicare and find out that it is common practice for them to drop people with Medicare and or Medicaid.

I am surprised to see these negative reviews. Dr Javery has been awesome!!! He got me off of NORCO to which the side effects were horrible. I have had injections from several doctors and his has been the most effective. I would recommend him to everyone!!

Well let’s begin with my scheduled appointment time. It was 2:40. I got called back right away however I sat in the room waiting and he finally came in at 4:00. I had been in the hospital the week before for a vertebral artery dissection and he immediately questioned that cause his friend has the same thing happen. He asked if I was sure that is what I had I said yes and tried to explain it to him and he cut me off saying oh a double lumen. I said no it was a dissection. Like 6 doctors are wrong and he is right. The next 5 mins was him saying he doesn’t think I need to be on my pain meds and wants to do injections. Which I can’t have in the area where I have pain. Which is my nerve roots. And he asked me if I was on a certain med ever which I thought I was but he took a minute to look on maps all the way to 2014 and didn’t see it. He was being very arrogant. When ever I was explaining anything he just kept saying Yes. I finally just got fed up and said we are done here. I walked out.

15 year disabled person, who has been on pain meds with no issues, sees this doctor Javery and he takes me off what works and forces me to take drugs I'm allergic to. Do not waste your time, he treats you like you're a drug addict, puts you on alternative meds that for me I'm allergic to, then put small amounts in my neck after the hospital declared me allergic to Sebox, causing bumps and constant scratching. Do not let this man Javery touch you.

Dr. Javery is the most compassionate pain doctor I have EVER met. He takes the time with each patient to evaluate their pain and develop a personalized plan for treatment. He ALWAYS makes time to listen to your current concerns and to adjust the treatment plan accordingly. He also makes a thorough effort to stay up to the minute with all breaking edge care. You won't find a better doctor to treat your chronic pain. His practice is the cream of the crop.

Dr. Javery and staff worked to rid me of a fentanyl addiction after 10 years of treatment by another doctor, My pain cannot be eliminated - only managed. When Medicare kicked in, his nurse worked patiently with me for drug approval. Reading negative comments expecting to see the doctor on every visit seems unreasonable. PA's and nurses read from the same report for status updates. Whenever a new treatment or drug was considered, Dr. Javery was in the room for the consultation.

You will only meet him once. After that, all treatments and consultations are completed by nurses or PA's. He will switch you from your effective pain medicine to a less effective medicine that is politically correct, but not patient correct. It doesn't matter, you will not be prescribed Norco or similar

I actually see Dr Suderman at Javery Pain. He was very nice and explained everything quite well. I have been going there for about two years and the staff is very friendly. My Drs did change just recently but it didn't affect my treatment. I like the fact that you only have a consult every 5-6 months, as it saves time. If the treatment isn't working you can request a consult ahead of time. And I love the patient portal, you can do everything needed, request appointment, order refills etc ...

I have seeing him now for 8 years. He try doesn't care about his patients. All he wants to do is sell you a procedure and new medications and if you don't do it he will kick you out his practice by saying you werent compliment. Please run from him. They can't keep doctors in his practice and as well as staff. He loves to change your treatment plan without talking to you.
