I learned so much!
I saw him back in 2021, but he fixed my knee after I tore my ACL in September. The best part is how he explains and takes his time. Dr. Johnson’s team is Amazing. He got a new team since I saw him back in 2021. They are so patient and friendly. I learned so much about my knee and the healing process and I am doing so much better. I will be seeing him soon for my elbow and shoulder.

5 Star Doctor who makes you feel like family
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Johnson. From the moment I walked into the office, I knew I was in excellent hands. Dr. Johnson is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled but also compassionate and truly listens to patient concerns. Every visit, he takes the time to thoroughly explain each step of my care plan and answers all my questions with patience. I felt comfortable and confident throughout my treatment, knowing I was receiving the best possible care. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone seeking top-notch medical care. He’s truly a gem in the medical field!

Knee pain
Awesome visit. Quick service and quality care. I was experiencing knee pain for several weeks and wasn’t quite sure how to articulate it and Doc was wonderfully patient and helpful.

I have seen Dr. Johnson for years now. He takes care of my joints (feet / knees / wrists). In each of my visits, he is exceptionally thorough, he explains all the possibilities of having a surgery or avoiding surgery. He answers questions you didn't even ask, but come out very informed about your conditions. He has an awesome bedside manner. At least for me, I appreciate his cool as a cucumber demeanor when he is marking the part of my body he is going to operate on. He is very professional. However, his current staff isn't professional all. They are rude, they act like they are God's gift to the world. His assistants do not know how to even read an X-ray!! I prefer the staff he had about 6 or 7 years ago. His PAs knew it all back then!! I don' t know why he allows unprofessional staff to work for him now. In any case, his service as a doctor is bar none!! I have and will continue to recommend him! The 5 stars are for him only!!! His staff gets a 1!!!

I’ve worked in medical field over forty years and Dr Johnson is one of the best Ortho Surgeons I’ve worked with. Also great with clinical diagnosis. He’s the only one I would see for bone, joint or muscle problems.

I went in for a second opinion for knee surgery. When I spoke with Dr Johnson he was very knowledgeable and very up-to-date on the new methods and everything. I had him do the surgery and it was absolutely excellent! I didn't have any pain to speak of and recovery time has excellent. Now I have to have hip replacement and he's doing it. So what I did was I went online to YouTube I typed in his name and listen to his videos. I educated myself on what he's going to be doing and I am very happy that I have him as my orthopedic. Sure you may have to wait a little bit in the waiting room, but the wait is worth it. The front staff they're not very personable they're not real friendly. but once you get back behind that door service is more than what you want or could ask for. I encourage you to go with questions and ask them. He's very knowledgeable and I love this guy. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

He did a good job on my knee replacement 5 months ago. I'm doing fine, recovering nicely. I never saw him again after surgery, only his staff after prolonged waiting in the waiting room. It was difficult to get them to answer the telephone also.

Terribly disappointed. I got the Pa she advised. Knee inj. To reduce pain. She said I had to get the inj. and if problem, to call her. I called 4 times, she never called back. Today I had appt with the Dr, He said I need knee replacement! So my $ and time was wasted with PA. I'm 81. Live alone. I need relief, I don't expect a miracle but, by no means another surgery. I told him I've had 2 hip replacements and 2 back surgeries. He said, I din't do them. So what does that mean. Never will return there! He has no empathy and it was New Yrs. eve. so they wanted to Leave.

Worst staff in town. No customer service skills. The doctor has no empathy either. Seems he was never taught that the patient is WHY he is a doctor in the first place...not all about him. Phone calls from staff never EVER returned, prescriptions take weeks to get refilled, not sure why such an easy task is so hard for the 15 ladies he employs to run his office. They almost seem to go out of their way NOT to care. When asked too many questions, the doctor gets pissy. Most of the staff seems mute and completely ignorant. Oh, and after surgery, in the hospital, no one came to my room to check on me. Just the hospital staff. Never saw the doctor again. Nor did he call. Very strange.

Doctor and staff need training – Jul 15, 2019

Dr seemed perfectly fine and knowledgeable for the less than 10 minutes we saw him. BUT the WAIT was unbearable. We had an 8:45am appt. & were seen at 12:15! HORRENDOUS. They claimed they could have taken us sooner if we had the X-ray the Dr. needed to diagnose my mother. I was told this at 11:45am! Once learning of this, I went to get the CD of the required X-ray 0.5 miles up the road from SW X-Ray and was back in less than 10 minutes! No common sense or respect for their patients' time.

Had very high hopes for Dr. Johnson but sadly he dropped the ball when it came to my grandmother's surgery. He didn't see us post-op and made tons of excuses as to why he didn't. Glad her surgery turned out well but I wish we had some insight into what care she needed afterwards. I don't recommend him at all

To me no a good doctor, The last visit he did not see me with regard to my results, many excuses! Somebody else talked to me and gave my results, I am not sure if that person was his medical assistance. According to that person the doctor will call me about any physical therapy or meds for my pain and I still waiting already a 1.5 month passed. The first time I saw me he did not examine me at all. To me he is to clean to get dirty with his patients. No a very caring doctor at all

Dr. Johnson had originally operated on my arm. Since day one he kept having us back n forth in his office. His staff, with the exception of his tech, is completely under qualified & unable to do things. Calls never get returned, scheduling is a pain, and wait time is horrible.... All Dr. Johnson is worried about is charging the insurance without doing anything... DO NOT RECCOMMEND!

Dr.Johnson is focused on seeing as many patients as he can at the expense of quality service. I waited over an hour and a half before being seen by his staff and the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me. Horrible service!

I thought Dr. Johnson was wonderful. I did see the tech mostly, which was fine, but Dr. Johnson did the evaluation to find out what was wrong with my hip and scheduled my surgery. He did a wonderful job on my hip and I am very pleased. I still have to do my stretches and break up some leftover scare tissue but that's the case with any surgery. I don't believe anyone could have done a better job.

My daughter had her surgery 3 months ago...Dr showed up 4 hours later, hospital apologized for him said it was normal... Went to a few appointments only saw Robert, which was Awesome. Saw Dr Johnson finally after a 2 1/2 hour wait. Gave me the parent, no eye contact when talking and knew nothing about her case...we had to fill in the blanks for him. Robert, Martha I believe and the lady who makes the appts. are great, the other little girls are snobby and rude.Horrible Experience!!!
