Do not take your Teen daughter to him!
Although he is very knowledgeable, his bedside manner is terrible. My 14yo daughter has been diligently working on her health for the past year. He told that she was morbidly obese and pre-diabetic (she is not-her amazing pediatrician already checked for this) and that if she wasn't willing to help herself, don't bother coming back. She just spent the last year losing 35 lbs on her own and is a size 10. Shame on him for saying she's lying on her food diary or else she would of lost more weight since her prior visit. A Dr who doesn't practice body shaming would of asked her about her weight history first and offer suggestions instead of negative remarks. Seeking out a new cardiologist and will never go back to his office!

Would not recommend
Dr Weiner is A horrible doctor. He had the audacity to tell my niece that if she continues at her current weight nobody would want to ask her to prom. This is a 17 year old girl he is taking to. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. Definitely not a doctor I would recommend.

I am so disappointed with the EXPERIENCES I had with this Cardiology Group. From the first visit I didn’t feel welcome nor as if they cared. You would think because this is a pediatric office, they would have a sense of urgency, compassion or empathy towards their patients. My son was diagnosed this May and needs meds daily. EVERY MONTH that I need to refill his heart meds, it’s a cycle of blame. The staff at Children’s Cardiology Group do not take ownership of their mistakes and miscommunications. Instead they make excuses and blame the pharmacy. The last couple times I had enough. I requested his refills early, had the pharmacy request it early, even requested to have more than 1 month refill to avoid going through the authorization every 30 days. I CRIED, BEGGING because my son went without a couple dosages. My baby is only 1 yrs old. This happened more than once! How many children had to go through this!?! The staff provided wrong info, lied, blame others, and showed no compassion.

We had a terrible experience with Dr. Weiner. My son was born with a narrowing in the Aorta. He was 12 yrs old when Dr. Weiner attempted to place a stent in the aorta. Long story short he stent wasn't dilated properly and it traveled to his stomach which cannot be removed. Not only that, but he also damaged my son's artery on the leg (where the catheter is inserted) while he did the angioplasty. Unfortunately this is irreversible.
