I wish I could leave her 0 stars. She has horrendous bedside manner and seemed to have an attitude when I was expressing my worries based on my symptoms. I came in with a swollen lymph node and swelling in my neck. She said my bloodwork came back normal and wanted to end it at that. I had to push for a CT scan, which she ended up saying I could have if it would “make me feel better.” She tried to tell me that it was neck strain or spasms but didn’t want to help get to the bottom of what was going on. She was dismissive and I did not feel better after leaving her “care.” If she is treating you, I’d request a new doctor.

I wish you could give 0 stars. This doctor informed me that her shift is over and I’m not her problem anymore. She made sure to show me she thinks I am a liar about my chronic abdominal pain and has the worst “bedside manner “ I have ever seen in my life. I feel bad for anyone who gets treated by this doctor.

If this is the doctor assigned to you, request a new one. She lacks empathy, compassion, any sort of bedside manner and zero trust in the patient. She acted like all I wanted was pain medications, which I didn’t want and wouldn’t take. I drove myself and I don’t take opiate pain medications unless I’m needing surgery. I have seen many doctors for various conditions. I’m not a child and do not need to be coddled, but I do want to feel respected and listened too. I got neither of these. I went home feeling worse and with little to no answers.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Hughes?
This supposed professional had the poorest medical demeanor I have ever encountered. She snickered at my list of symptoms, came back after blood work, urine analysis & cat scan on my head and said "I have no clue". One side of my face was numb, my eyelid would not blink, my mouth and lips on the affected side would not work properly. She never even considered "Bell's Palsy" until my father brought it up. She walked left & sent the RN in with a script for steroids. I never saw her again.
