Dr. Mosley-Mendez prescribed steroid cream which caused my skin to have an adverse reaction and create dark spots. I specifically stated that my skin was sensitive. I dont think she is well versed in dealing with darker skin tones.

Worst doctor I've ever seen.
Wish I had read the reviews before I went to this convenient location. The doctor was in the examination room with me for no more than 5 minutes. She had not even reviewed all the items listed on my chart. My gut was telling me that this was not right and I just about walked out of the room but I had already paid. What an uncaring and unconcerned doctor. How can she even call herself a doctor? I will not be going back and have made an appointment with another dermatologist.

Horrific. Terrible bedside manner, I've literally never experienced worse. My son's father brought him here bc it's in the neighborhood. He had two terrible experiences here, with liquid nitrogen and bettle juice applications to the skin. And, he's been left with loads of scars around the elbows and knees. He was in pain for several days afterward. When I was finally able to bring him myself to find out more about what exactly was going on with his skin - what is this, what's causing it, why it's spreading, how can we prevent it, alternative options ... all she wanted to do was quickly burn these things off without further discussion (this is traumatic for a child btw). I was given quite an attitude when we decided to leave without any procedure. Upon leaving, the receptionists commented about my 7 year old literally screaming for HELP the last two times. Switching doctors... No thanks!!!

Bad. Used to see this “dermatologist “ back when she was at the Miami lakes location and none of her treatments worked to help my acne then. On top she burned my eyebrow with a laser that ruined me for many years. Eventually getting an eyebrow transplant. Her assistant helping her was also clueless in what she was doing. Luckily I have found a few great and actual dermatologists that I go to now.

I wish I would have read the other reviews before going here. The office is fairly nice and the receptionist was very pleasant but that’s about it. Dr. Mosley-Mendez is by far the worst experience I’ve had with a dr ever. She started the appointment late and the complained about the number of concerns I had saying rudely that I might have to schedule another appt! She barely looked at my skin, was arrogant, condescending and stayed in the room for all of ten minutes. It’s also been three business days and my medications still haven’t been called into the pharmacy. I’m not sure how a dr can have this many bad reviews and still have a job with this practice. She’s the absolute worst!

Dr. Kellie Mendez was rude and had an overwhelming sense of entitlement. She came in the room for all of 30 seconds with an attitude. I DO NOT recommend her.

Skin check was literally after 30-60 seconds. I have been to dermatologists before and have never had such a cursory exam. I would not recommend this provider.

Had a terrible experience. Her office MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) decided she could diagnose my grandmother with skin cancer & began to talk about chemo/radiation treatments until I intervened. Dr Mendez came in and took about .5 seconds to look at her skin, immediately said it was cancer, commenced to cutting that and then some. Didn't stop to listen that she had it previously biopsied. overall extremely unprofessional. I will never be going back. I will never recommend.

I recently had a procedure (zo skin peel) recommended by Dr. Mosley. Not only did I spent a fortune getting this procedure she suggested completed but now I’m going to have to spend more correcting the darker spots this peel created. I had been working with this doctor for over a month to try clearing and controlling my melasma because my skin is extremely sensitive. Dr. Mosley recommended this peel It has made my Melasma worse and the spots darker. I do not recommend this Dr. Very unhappy.

I’ve gone to Cleveland Clinic for many years, but it became very difficult to get an appointment, etc. I have a history of melanoma so I wanted to find a dermatologist who did an excellent job, but had an office that was easy to work with and get appointments every 6 months. I went to Dr. Mosley-Mendez today and my experience was fantastic! The office staff was great, I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment, and she was wonderful! She was thorough with her exam and so pleasant.

Dr Mosley Mendez prescribed expensive medicines from specialty pharmacies, and when I called to discuss the use of these drugs, and why I was taking them for only a week and to get a refill when my problem has persisted for years. I was told that the doctor does not take phone calls, and would not speak to me. I was flabbergasted. I insisted I speak with her, and again was told that she would not speak to me. This is beyond unprofessional. neighbors had warned me about her but I did not believe.

Do not go to this dermatologist. Although the rest of the staff was friendly and courteous, the doctor made me feel like a burden and did not properly explain anything. She came in for maybe 2 minutes, if so many, and told me what she was prescribing for my acne but not what it did. She was visibly in a rush and would not have provided me with any information about the prescriptions if I did not constantly ask questions. Her assistants are amazing though and why I did not give 1 star,

Dr. Mosley-Mendez took her time in educating my children in skin care : type, cause, prevention and treatment course for their current conditions. She offered samples and assurance to contact her immediately for any questions and concerns. My daughter saw her a year ago for an initial consultation /treatment plan and we are pleased with the great results. My son just had his first consult and we are confident that the results will be the same. Compassionate , caring person.
