Best Doctor I've Ever Had in 61 years.
I received my live donor kidney transplant in November 2016. The day after transplant I met about 7 medical professionals, one of whom was Dr. Kelly Birdwell. A transplant is a scary time, filled with fear of the unknown. Dr. Birdwell walked my wife and me through it all with care, concern, compassion, patience, and understanding. She possesses such experience in her years in this field, and so her confidence reassures someone like me who is a born skeptic and a worry-wart. Through the last 6 years I've grown to trust her with my life: It surprised me that it didn't take very long after my transplant that I realized I would do anything she advised me to without question. My wife and I have a deep Christian love for her, and we would not be surprised in the least to see her honored someday as one of those greats in the medical field that have statues and facilities named after them. Thank you, Dr. Birdwell... you mean the world to a whole lot of people.

She Listens To You...
I have been seeing Dr. Birdwell every month since my transplant the end of Aug, 2021. She is very attentive to any problems or questions I may have, and is always thorough. She has kept my meds in proper adjustment all this time. And the communications with her staff is also clear and prompt. Couldn't ask for a better doctor....
