It's no wonder physicians get sued so often. This MD sent us a bill for services rendered (that was twice the contracted rate), we called our insurance carrier and it was determined that the charge was indeed wrong and that it should be reprocessed. We receive another bill SIX months later from collection agency!!! This company says that they sent 2 bills in the interim but we keep all medical bills in a folder for this and other reasons and we did NOT receive any interim bills. BAD BAD BAD
