Dr. Kelly Sweerus is a physician of the highest quality. Our family is very thankful to have her as our mother's ICU doctor. In addition to being a highly skilled pulmonary specialist, she is compassionate, caring and never gave up on our mom. She advocated and ensured that our mom had the best treatment and care. Dr. Kelly kept our family informed and involved every step of the way. Any patients lucky enough to have her should feel reassured knowing that they are in good hands.

I am ALIVE today and enjoying my life because of the sheer will and determination of Dr Sweerus. I had been to 3 specialists. I had a serious bacterial infection that was completely misdiagnosed I literally could not breathe and was coughing up mucus 18 hours per day. Dr. Sweerus let me know that she would NEVER give up. She gave me HOPE to hang on. She researched, tested, persisted and finally diagnosed and treated me. I suffered for 4 1/2 years. She found the answer; I can breathe!!!

She is a horrible physician lacking in compassion and empathy. She was my Dr for overnight shift in Cardio ICU and actually yelled at me and belittled me due to a cath coming out after multiple people were performing multiple procedures on me at once in the middle of the night when I suddenly became critically ill. I was heavily sedated during all the procedures and never touched the drainage line, but all the movements made to me dislodged the drain. It was even due to come out day.

She is more interested in being right than taking care of you. She would not listen to me and refused to fill my medication @ the dose I had been taking, which made me more sick. I've had my disease longer than she's been alive; I know something about it, too. Seeing her was a big waste of time, I had to see a different MD.
