Dr. Kelvin Burton, MD

I paid Dr. Kelvin Burton for full laser hair removal treatments and received severe burns during the first session, which required treatment from another doctor. Despite assurances of completing my treatments after I healed, I was burned again during the next session. Dr. Burton admitted to faulty equipment but never provided the promised treatments. He later sold his machine and left me with incomplete sessions, despite paying in full. Additionally, he billed my insurance for vein treatments that were never completed. My experience shows a pattern of negligence and broken promises. I would advise caution when considering his services.

Rude staff. IMPOSSIBLE to get a simple prescription refilled. treated like a third class citizen by the staff. Waited over an hour for an appointment that I was 10 minutes early for, while people that had arrived 20 minutes after me sailed right in front of me and were seen. I left due to the obvious disrespect and will NEVER go back

Terrible human been, I dont know how people like him can get a license to practice, I desputed over charges to my insurance and he didnt like that, after the complain he decided to stop seen me, he loves money, if you don't pay what he wants he will stop seen you and cut off all medications, even when he knew all my very sensitive health condition he left me with no doctor and no medications. He really hurt me. Don't see this Kevin Burton he will hurt you if you don't like what he charges to the insurance and out of pocket. Horrible experience

I went there in 2015 over a few visits. I tried to get allergy testing there. The first time I showed up, the office manager told me the allergist hadn't shown up and would "probably be fired" and to wait two weeks before calling back. Two weeks or so later, I went and it was the same allergist...she told me her FATHER had passed away and she was at the funeral. The office was supposed to cancel the appointments but didn't. Last time was when I went to the ER for an asthma attack. I called the next day to get a folllowup visit. Explained to the office manager what happened and said I needed to get tested for asthma. "The earliest we have is Thurs...why do you want to come anyway?" I switched doctors that day.

I couldn’t even get an appointment unless I had all my records faxed to his office. I’m a family practice nurse practitioner and was referred to Dr. Burton via the head of Douglas Hospital Emergency Department and another nurse practitioner. I have been an independent NP and had my own clinics--family medicine, since I returned as a captain in the US Army Nurse Corps in Vietnam. My spouse an army officer died in Hawai’i in 2009. I moved here from Hawai’i and know no one. But these two medical personnel ASSURED me that Dr. Burton would be a “great, understanding doctor! I simply wanted to make an appt to speak with him to see how we would work together--looking for a holistic doctor as all of his ads speak about working in a faith-based practice. No matter what I said all the receptionist kept saying was “We need your medical records! That is the only way to see him!” I have practiced family medicine w the military since 1970! Have NEVER heard such rudeness. “Hey thanks 4 service

I do not recommend this office. They are obviously committing medical billing fraud. They required that I take a CBC (even though I'd just received a physical) and 3 consecutive drug tests before providing me with a prescription I've been taking since I was 7 years old. Then, they used an out of state and out of network Lab for the tests and charged my insurance company $4500. Next, they tried to force me to pay out of pocket even after my insurance paid.

I love the staff at Dr. B's office. They make you feel like family. He is a great doctor w/ very knowledgeable associates. Give them a call today for all your healthcare needs. A. Hayes

I don't have experience with Dr. Burton but I called to try to see if he could be my primary care physician.. But after speaking to the receptionist I will continue to search. If she is the example of the type of treatment I would rather drive 20 miles away than to deal with rude people.
