Rude and evasive
Dr. Hamner’s is one that pushes off or refers you to a specialist very quickly. He will not actually try to diagnose what you have he would rather pass you on. And as far as his front staff. The receptionist who always answers the phone is a very rude person. She has been rude for at least four years thatI’ve been dealing with them and it is ridiculous some of the things that she tells the patients when she’s on the phone. There is no actual thought put into diagnosing anything if you go into his office. All he will do is refer you to someone else very quickly. Will never ever use his services again!!!

Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Dr Hamner has been my primary doctor for some time. However when I feel bad enough to go to a doctor I want some recommendations, research on my condition because I don't expect him to know everything off the top of his head, maybe a prescription for a cold, etc, to help with my discomfort. Not a referral to another specialist, when he has not tried as my primary doctor to resolve the situation with patience, and care. This has happen many times.

Dr. Hamner gives that special touch with his care that makes you feel as though he's been knowing you for a lifetime. No matter what the illness, he makes sure that he does all in his power to get to the bottom of not only healing it, but preventing it from happening again. At the end of (sometime during) every visit, he won't let you leave without emphasizing the need to EXERCISE! (goodness!) It's what he does... LOVE this Doctor!
