He could have cared less
I had sepsis from. Kidney infection and was in the hospital for 10 days. Had my gallbladder removed also. On discharge a lot of my lab results were still abnormaI and I was very weak. I saw him as my new PCP 6 days after I was discharged. I was still having fever. He blew me off until he got my records, even tho I had access to them online. I had to call medical records myself to get them faxed. I called his office call to get a sooner appointment after he got my records instead of waiting another weeK. Yes I was scared after being septic. So 11 days after my discharge, he finally did a UA AND I still had a UTI. He gave me an antibiotic and said “I’ll see you in a month. No labs ordered even tho there is an onsite lab in his building. No tests at all! Today I saw a new doc and he drew labs the same day! Dr Gibson did not care one bit about my heath. If I hadn’t worked in the medical field and knew the ropes a little, I’d still be waiting to see him with no test ordered after 8 weeks.
