Reading many of these reviews leaves me completely baffled.. I have been a Patient here for over three years now. I am treated with the utmost Respect and Kindness each and EVERY time I come in or call. I saw Nicole for a long time until she relocated and she was Wonderful.. always kind and caring! I now see Dr Goolsby and I can not say enough kind things.. Honestly, he is the BEST Dr I have ever seen in this State! I come from a Northern State known for Medical Excellence so I am more than particular.. I have had many bad experiences in Ga. with Medical care but this is surely NOT one of them! I find Dr. Goolsby to be very personable, professional and kind.. he is also quite humble which you don't find often in this field. Lisa the Office Manager is Fabulous, she always has my back! Kudos to Maddie as well. I do not hesitate to recommend this Office and I hope you will give them a try and decide for yourself. They truly CARE here, I can say that with conviction..

My 69 year old wife on her first visit was assigned a nurse practitioner or PA who exhibited unprofessional behavior. My wife expressed dissatisfaction to the office in a calm manner. She later got a letter from the practice stating the nurse practitioner she saw was no longer with the practice. Upon trying to give this practice another chance, the practice refused to see her because in their eyes her feedback expressing concern categorized her “as a quitter” and they don’t take back quitters. While we cannot review the competency of the doctors overall since she only visited once; based on our experience this practice is unprofessional and uncaring. From office staff down through the doctors and:/or management.

If you leave a review, you are automatically connected to Dr Goolsby! I just found this out by doing a search for fun to see what came up. This is what came up - Dr. Kenneth Goolsby Jr, MD, Physiatry. Now anyone doing a search on me will automatically know I see him, but they don't say what for? It's anyone's guess the way it is listed. This hurt me really bad. I thought by leaving a great review that I was doing a good thing only to find out now the whole world can see the only Dr. listed on my profile. Also, I advise you to never sign a release form and leave it empty. My Cardiologist of all people has my medical records from Dr Goolsby. Now tell my why a Cardiologist would need my complete records to treat me for Diastolic congestive Heart failure. I just read my records on my Portal a couple of weeks ago. boy did it break my heart to find that the Dr I fully trusted gave a Cardiologist my complete records! I have lost all trust in Dr's.

I haven’t seen Dr. Goolsby in a few years but saw him during two difficult periods in my life, and he was tremendously helpful. He’s just brilliant at his job. I will see him again if I need support for my mental health.

I was signed up to see Dr. Goolsby but instead, I saw the nurse practitioner. She was lousy, rude and unprofessional. Will never want to see another nurse practitioner in that office again.

NEVER EVER go to Kenneth Goolsby's off in Gainesville. They have sent me a bill for not only a office consult ($320) BUT a $150 fee for "testing." I was only there for 30 mins and they did not do any testing. So I called them, they said that the "testing" is a 9 question paper they had everyone sign. I asked where it was that I signed this would be additional to my office visit. Her (Kathy in the billing department) said "our prices are not posted" over and over. So, I asked her, since I DID NOT

in the last week Would give 0 stars if possible. Wouldnt refill prescription (daily antidepressant) because they said I didn't show up for appointment. I never received any notification of said appointment. Told them I was having issues with withdrawals from antidepressant (headaches, dizziness, blurred vision)after being out for several days. They instructed me at time they wouldn't refill prescription without seeing me first, told them that was fine and asked to set up appointment. First a

Excellent listener and committed to his patients!

Without the medications Dr. Goolsby prescribed, I would have continued in lifelong depression. He suggested adjustments as needed and kept me going when I wanted to quit. I recommend him without question, even if I did have to wait for him to get to me. Worth it.

Only solution to identified problem is to over prescribe medications.
