Rude Front Desk Staff
Every time I accompany my elderly parents to the office in Merced, the front desk staff is always snarky with patients and display no soft skills. Unlike the girls in the back that actually do the work are gentle and friendly. The office manager is obviously not too concerned about her staff’s behavior. As for my parents, I will be looking for a new specialist.

Terrible place
Terrible place with a terrible staff. The assistant that took my vitals was rude and treated me like I was dumb. He got mad when I took an extra minute to get up and adjust my glasses and rolled his eyes when I stated sorry I’m a little slow. Extremely long wait with staff just plastered around talking about inappropriate things infront of other patients and about rudely about other patients. When I got placed into a room a staff member walked in to explain something regarding another patient which made the doctor leave. Extremely disappointed felt like the doctor doesn’t give enough attention to his patients and staff should not state personal information like that with other people in a room. Everyone in that place is to stuck up for their own good. Would not recommend

Disappointed customer
Looking for second opinion, I have Thyroid Eye Disease, my eyes are constantly dry burns all the time, sensitive to light, and very blurry. The doctor who checked my eyes today complained about my insurance and said my vision was 20-20 which is far from the truth. He did nothing and had his staff scheduled me for a year from now. I give them a 2 rating

Excellent. Staff are friendly, efficient and office is well staffed, therefore patients are seen in reasonable time frames. Staff and office follows Covid-19 precautions. Dr. Grossman explains conditions, etc. clearly. Surgery for bilateral cataracts went well.

Long waits, very big headed and unprofessional. First surgery 3.5 hour wait. 2nd surgery good. 3rd surgery 2hour wait. 4th surgery had me come in 1 hour early to wait 2.5 hours. Last surgery guestioned him about the wait. He didn’t like it. When he was done with the surgery he started to walk away. Than he said “Oh”. Came back and stuck something in my eye that zapped me really good. I said OUCH! In smart alec voice he said “oh did that hurt?” I said you know it hurt. He said let me see and zapped me again. Haven’t been back since. Too big headed for his own good. Would not recommend him to anyone. Very unprofessional. Wouldn’t let him see my dog. I’m now seeing another doctor that cares!
