Dr. Kenneth Hancock, MD

He is a great surgeon and doctor and very attentive and compassionate!

Dr. Hancock always took the time with the appointment. He explained things so I understood my condition. I will always value his experience and knowledge of my condition and miss his way of recommending the best treatment for me.

Dr. Hancock really listens to his patients, and he is genuinely concerned about their wellbeing. He often tells me about the latest research on my type of cancer because he knows that I am interested. A few years ago I participated in a phase three clinical trial for a new chemotherapy drug at his suggestion. The treatment was successful, and test results continue to be negative. I would gladly recommend Dr. Kenneth Hancock to any woman who needs a gynecological oncologist.

Dr. Hancock and his team have been wonderful during my entire experience: he was caring and empathetic on the first visit and showed great professionalism during my hospital stay. After the first surgery, I developed a complication: the nursing staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions, giving me immediate feedback from Dr. Hancock. There was a second surgery...very successful. The followup appointments have been professional and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Hancock to anyone needed his services; however, I've learned that he will be retiring in late Spring...hopefully his shoes will be filled by someone as competent and caring.

I am so glad my primary care doctor sent me to Dr. Hancock when she found I had cancer. He is such a caring doctor and answers all my questions so I know what to expect from my treatment.

Dr. Hancock has been my oncologist since 2015 for two occurrencs and my care has been wonderful.

Always on time for your appointment. Dr. Hancock takes time and listens to you without rushing through your appointment. He has a great staff his nurse Buffy is so knowledgeable and available to help and return calls right away.

I consider Dr. Hancock and his team as "my squad", Buffy is a real dragon slayer, and I am convinced, if it was not for Dr. Hancock and his team I would not be here no more. Out of lack of words, that would properly relay what I feel, I just want to say I love ALL of them!!!! you guys are the bomb, and the true heros in my life!

The wait is always short. The staff and nurses are always very nice. Dr Hancock is the best. I have been seeing him since 2016.

I couldn’t say enough good things about Dr Hancock and his nurse, Buffy. It was a nasty shock hearing I had carcinosarcoma, which is aggressive uterine cancer. But there was never a doubt in my mind that I was under the best care possible. Whenever I had questions about anything I would message Buffy and she would get back to me so quickly, even tho I know how busy she is. The employees at the labs at Texas Oncology are AWESOME. I always had same sweet lady, Syra. She always made me feel welcome and that she cared. Hardly ever felt needle. A total professional with big heart.
