My own MD recommended him. I was unimpressed. It took them 6 days to call me after a referral for a large thyroid nodule found on ultrasound. Wanted a consult visit before a biopsy, which results in an extra charge, which UW MDs do not do. Then declined to do recommended biopsy and referred me to radiology because their ultrasound equipment was ‘old.’ . At the end of the visit, then wanted to tslk thyroid in general when it was clear to me I would have no further contact. Felt like bill padding.

Dr Ligaray is a good listener. He is warm and compassionate and has a good sense of humor. He has seen me for thyroid issues and he is very skilled in this area.

Dr. Ligaray is a soft-spoken and very compassionate doc who takes the time to listen and to explain. I have utmost confidence in his skill and his patient care, and he employs a fantastic staff as well. I highly recommend Dr. Ligaray and his practice.
