Dr. Kenneth Ott, MD

I’ve always had a great experience with Dr Ott (and so has my husband). I’ve read some negative reviews which floor me! He never rushes, is NEVER rude, is very knowledgeable and listens well. I can’t think of one negative thing about him. I’ve never had any trouble with the front desk staff either. They’ve always been competent and respectful. A review saying “condescending and dismissive” I just can’t fathom. I referred my friend to him and she thanks me over and over!

Dr. Ott is a clear and precise medical professional. He is obviously very well trained and knowledgeable. I have some serious medical problems. I need a physician who will guide me, someone who is consistent and knows who I am. He is all of this. Being healthy requires work and Dr. Ott will help you find the way.

I found Dr. Ott to be patient, knowledgeable, and informative. His recommendation of Panorama Orthopedics for problems with my thumb arthritis turned out to be excellent. He recommended I get a colonoscopy, which I did, and though benign, cysts were found which could have grown larger. I'm grateful for Dr. Ott's thoroughness.

Dr. Ott is dismissive, rude and one of the worst doctors I’ve ever had. After I switched providers, I am finally getting the answers to my health concerns that have been desperately needed which he dismissed for years. He had no problem throwing various meds my way when not needed; some of causing major side effects affecting my health. When I brought up serious negative symptoms from the medication’s side effects, he replied, “that’s not a side effect of that”, and had to go the the pharmacist for verification as I couldn’t rely on him. Very eager to throw meds at you, without taking the time to listen or care.

After waiting 2 months for an appointment, I finally took my teen daughter in for her annual wellness exam. She is a new patient there. The front desk staff and medical assistants were amazing and very friendly, but that positive experience changed dramatically once "Doctor" Ott walked in. For the first 10 minutes, he didn't even look at me. As the mother and not the patient, doctors typically address me when they enter and then move forward with speaking to my child. He was rushing through questions with my daughter and then once we got to a particular topic, he began harassing us over the decision we made regarding it. He became quickly agitated and escalated and refused to drop the subject. He kept demanding that I give him a reason why we made that decision and continued to be super condescending and demeaning. I asked him to please drop the subject and move on because we had already made our decision and he refused. He even said that he couldn't be our doctor. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Dr. Ott was extremely thorough, kind, and attentive. My entire family now sees him. He was extremely quick to update or comment on testing and followed up as necessary. We’re so pleased we found an amazing provider close to home. I do agree the scheduling can be a bit difficult, and I always expect a wait at a physician’s office. However, he always asks if I have any other questions or concerns before I leave, and I have never felt rushed…he will take extra time to make sure I understand the test or situation. I highly recommend.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Ott since we moved here in 2019. Dr Ott has shown nothing but kindness and professionalism. We have been very pleased with our visits. We have not had long waits in the office and the staff has always been pleasant. As far as scheduling appointments, we usually make them far enough ahead of time so we can get an appointment on our schedule.

I got in to see Dr. Ott right away. The front desk was very helpful and normal! He was kind and empathetic, and got me in right away for a test I needed. I notice most of the reviews were from 2 years ago. I think they must have their stuff straight because my experience was fine. He's actually the type of doc I've been looking for for years and I feel quite lucky to have found him!

I inherited Doctor Ott when my old PCP, who I admired as both a practitioner and health partner, left this practice. When sharing my health concerns and preventative health desires he is condescending and dismissive. I went to have a yearly physical and he didn't even perform a physical examination, stating something to the effect of "oh, they already did that at your previous visit". His bedside manner is lacking greatly, and he acts as though he has something better to be doing.

My mom passed away a week after this man tried to discharge her form the hospital. He said they could not do anything for weakness. My mom was more than weak she was dying. HE WAS so mean to her and would not look me in the eye. He also prescribed her blood pressure medicine and she had two more strokes after that because she should not have low blood pressure. The next doctor immediately took my mom off of it. I also had to beg this man to do a cat scan on my mom and he would not do it. After getting case management involved my mom stayed at the hospital, got a cat scan, got off of blood pressure meds, and passed away a few days later. This man should not be in practice. RUN FROM HIM and don't let him care for your loved one.

Doctor is either so overbooked or so badly scheduled that he's never available. When I've tried to make appointments, it's a 3-6 week wait. When I try to get prescription refills, it's a 1-2 week wait. When I have a basic question (ie, "Should I come in for this?"), it takes days to get an answer. Absolutely ridiculous. I recently begged to get another doctor and was refused by the office. Now, I'm being told I should go to urgent care or the ER for a simple sinus infection, since they can't get in touch with the doctor or his nurse to even try to schedule an appointment.

I can’t even begin with this office. So many issues. I came in with side pain lasting for weeks. He told me that I drank too much alcohol on my last trip and probably damaged my liver. This was pretty shocking to me because I didn’t drink that much. My bloodwork came back and said liver was fine. He told me I probably pulled a muscle. After a few more weeks still having pain, I asked for an ultrasound. I had the ultrasound on a weds and the imaging place sent the results the next day. It’s now 7 days later and I still don’t have the results from Dr. Ott. I have called 4 times where the MAs either aren’t available or claim they don’t have the results yet, left messages with no return call, electronically messaged Dr. Ott via the health portal. STILL have no answer. That’s beyond unacceptable. They literally don’t care about the patients, just a huge money maker.

I found Doctor Ott to be dismissive and condescending. I went to have a yearly physical and he didn't do the normal bloodwork customary for my age group. He shamed me for making an appointment with him because I had seen other doctors at the practice. His bedside manner is the worst I have experienced, I felt uncomfortable enough in the first few minutes that I almost got up and left. I'm not sure what could have drawn him to become a doctor, he doesn't seem to like people.

Runs expensive tests without a clear reason and jumps to unreasonable health conclusions instead of considering basic diagnoses first. Astonishingly poor medical judgement (regarding symptom assessment). Poor bedside manner-very awkward and lacking confidence. I would not recommend this provider to anyone-seek out any other provider in the group before this man.

I discourage & caution people seeking care from this man. His bedside manner and medical judgement are poor at best. He's painfully nervous and doesn't present with confidence in his medical knowledge. He suggested HIV and STD's as a possible answer for my fairly unremarkable symptoms (body ache, fatigue, sore throat). I was shocked as I have no risk factors for these diseases! It turns out I do not have either. Just a common virus running it's course. A reckless and idiotic "doctor"
