Poor first visit.
Waited an hour past my appointment time to go back, then another 20 minutes. When he came in he just sat there and looked at me as if I was holding him up. Told me there was nothing wrong even though urgent care had referred me. No X-rays, no meds. Said call me if you need an mri. I won’t be going back.

This last visit was a check up, and due to healing , I progressed from weekly appts, to monthly appts to now- I have graduated to seeing Dr. Schmidt in one year!!!My case was complicated. And, I almost lost my leg. Dr. Schmidt’s commitment and passion for his work and for his patients was and is obvious. He was not going to let me lose my leg. I trusted that. I knew he would do everything available. I now walk up to 4 miles ( not bad for an older gal!). Worked out with great physical therapist, Jeff Goesling. Excellent competent care.BTW, staff at the front desk are wonderful- of course they saw me a lot- and saw the progress, so I was privileged to see more than their efficiency.

Total right knee replacement
