Dr. Kenneth Settel, MD

Dr. Settel through his quiet, authority and guidance lead me to a deeper understanding of who I am and where I come from. He gave me so many tools to manage my life and move forward. I am eternally grateful to him for his guidance and love. Real talk Therapy is never easy, especially if it is to be effective. My most valuable lesson that I have learned from my time with him is that the harder you work the more you benefit from the sessions. I always say to my friends who ask me about my time in therapy that it’s really not about what you say during the sessions, moreover, about what you feel doing the sessions. That’s the take away. It is in what you’re feeling. If you can find the courage to explore the feeling, you will find the truth about YOU. If I have a regret, I thought my time with Dr. Ken it would be that I was not more present and understanding of his methods. My son saw him. Would not communicate with both parents equally. He believed my 13 year old son should manage his own medication and would not communicate with the parents about usage and dosage - really bizarre.
