His knowledge and care really made the difference!
People who suffer from ME know that in US it's almost impossible to find a doctor who believes you when you tell them about your symptoms, and secondly can do anything for you to treat your condition. FDA declares this condition as uncurable and advises treating symptoms only. Dr. De Meirleir on the other hand took time to investigate my condition, to determine the root of it. He finally gave me hope and an actual treatment that HELPS! You can find a few bad articles about him written by an independent journalist and an acquisitive foundation who blame the doctor for being greedy, smuggling drugs, and claiming that he killed many people by not publishing his patents in magazines. 1. Dr. De Meirleir is charging much less than any family doctor in US. 2. He cared for his patients so much, that he was willing to bring medicine for them from other countries where they were available 3. There are no companies or researchers who share their patents in magazines.
