Not a very good experience at all. I don’t think they care too much about making you comfortable and they’re fine sending you home in pain with zero after care instructions. I had a very painful internal stye that I’m pretty sure was infected. Dr Bassett performed surgery on it by giving me local anesthetic (numbing solution) with a needle on my already painful eyelid. The numbing stuff gave me horrible anxiety and I started to have a panic attack during the numbing part, but he didn’t seem to care. He flipped my eye lid over, cut into the stye and let it drain. Then sent me on my way. Nothing for the pain, no after care instructions... nothing. When I got home and the numbing started to wear off the pain was horrible. I almost went to urgent care since it was after 5. I could not believe I was sent home like that! The swelling and bruising was BAD and I didn’t know if what I was feeling was even normal since they let me go without any info! I will never come here again.

Just had cataract surgery and highly recommend Dr. Bassett. He is very thorough in explaining the process and expected outcome. He has a calm and reassuring presence and takes the time to answer your questions.
